Everything was clean, very cozy Irish homestay, which will definitely make your trip more unique. The star of the show was without any questions - breakfast. Not only can you fill up your stomach completely, but the food can be adjusted to your liking. Delicious, fastly served, beautiful setting and good quantities. Of course, free parking and location at the city centre were super convenient and saved a lot of time and stress.

Breakfast was delicious each day with a variety to choose from and cooked to order. Yum! The room was perfect, and beds were comfortable. We asked to leave luggage after check - out and until our train time to leave and they were happy to do that for us. They answered questions and made suggestions on things to do and where to enjoy meals in their city.

The Helm Apartments B&B can help organise golf or adventure-based activities. On-street parking is available on-street for a small daily surcharge. We informed the management of the estimated time of our arrival and told them we would get a taxi straight to the facility. When we arrived at the Westport train station we were met by a member of the management in a mini bus. Lovely surprise. When my husband and friend arrived much later that evening the kitchen was closed but they cheerfully reopened it and fed them with a fabulous plate of fresh fish and chips. The food was absolutely delicious and very plentiful. The owners and staff were wonderful, very warm and friendly. The apartment was very pleasant and comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough of the people of this warm and welcoming place. I hope to return there someday and very highly recommend it to people looking for a lovely vacation experience. Thank you again to the owners and staff of the Helm. Westport is a great little town in a stunningly beautiful location.😁👍
