Large apartments, great for families, maintenance was friendly, helpful and efficient.

Very conveniently located next to the railway and bus terminals for Galway (Ceannt) - and impeccably well-kept. Had my trousers button sewn back on by one of the staff, and they serve great breakfasts in the morning! Vibes are also immaculate.

In a quiet, residential location, the B&B is less than 10 minutes’ walk from Galway Cathedral. The breakfast was excellent. The host had us sign up for a time the night before and it was hot and ready the next morning. The hosts were friendly and accommodating.

The Waterfront Rest B&B is a beach-front property located on the peaceful Wild Atlantic Way in the heart of Connemara. Rooms overlook the beautiful water and free WiFi is available in public areas. The property is recommended by Le Guide du Routard. Lovely location and lovely host! Very nice room. Good breakfast included.

At breakfast, you can choose a full Irish breakfast, or something from the comprehensive menu, with homemade breads. Breakfast was amazing! We had a great time and easily taxied to and from the city center.

Connemara's longest established hotel, Foyles has been owned and managed by the Foyle family for nearly a century. The impressive building, which has played host to many famous personalities over the years, has recently been redesigned to the highest modern standards, yet retains much of its old charm and atmosphere. Great location, lovely cosy bar and restaurant and well appointed bedrooms. Baths in the bedrooms were a welcome addition and there were literally loads of plug sockets for phone charging, hair drying etc. The staff were exceptional and made my friend and I (both female) extremely welcome.

Leenane Hotel is family-run hotel, where fresh seafood from the harbour and vegetables from the hotel garden are used every day. Excellent stay and lovely helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Set in Roundstone, Tatis Bake-Away is a recently renovated accommodation, 16 km from Alcock & Brown Memorial and 38 km from Kylemore Abbey. The property features sea views, and is 34 km from Maam Cross. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. Absolutely lovely owner who was happy to share some tips about where to take a morning walk. Fresh baked scones in the morning were lovely!
