Jorhat Airport is 83 km away. The place was very homely and very welcoming. Mr. Narayanji was very kind to help us with all the needs. Although our journey was delayed, he had kept us dinner ready and the rooms very all cleaned and warmed with heaters as we had informed that we had kids travelling along. The food provided there was just so homely and was local delicacy. This is located 500m from the main bus stand where you can get pretty much everything(major market too). He was kind enough to arrange the Safaris and instructed the drivers to take us to the areas where the spotting was prime. The two night stay was very much budget friendly and was surprised as we visited during the season and he did not take us for a ride unlike other places. He genuinely promotes tourism.

There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. We stayed for 5 days at Nature Hunt, the staff is very friendly and helpful with everything you need. They have their own private jeep for safaris and an excellent wildlife guide that you can hire to go into the park with you. The food is local and very tasty, but not too spicy. We ate all our meals at the resort because the food was excellent. The lodges are basic but comfortable, to give you a more of an into the nature feeling. Many birds and several species of monkey can be spotted on the grounds of nature hunt.

They got us a safari, gibbon experience, advice on the Orchid House, plus transportation to and from their place. The food was delicious and really affordable. Prahbat and sundanza just give you a warm welcome and make you feel at home. They invited me to a community party during Bihu, the national festival of Assam. Also an ideal place to wander through the village, surrounded by tea plantations and lush green hills. Definitely to recommend!

We visited Kaziranga National Park four times over two days. Rishav arranged our four safaris and car and driver. Everything work perfectly. The homestay is indeed a home stay - we met his family and enjoyed home cooked meals. The accommodations are large, quiet, comfortable, clean and safe. The food was delicious. Rishav communicates promptly and clearly using WhatsApp. We highly recommend the Nahorjan Tea Homestay.
