Breakfast was also really great. We were also able to store our luggage there while we hike for 5 days and are going back for another stay on our return.

You are visiting the dolomites - go hike! What you need is some really fantastic velmade food from the chef who makes the best carbonara outside rome (he used to work in rome), when you get Home after a day in the mountain. We NEVER eat at the hotel restaurant - but in Cortina this is the best price/value and service. A receptionist who gives you a hug when you pay hotel tax :-) and a smile every we meet, a perfect designed hotel experience in every detail, the most fantastic view in the room and the restaurant, helpfull and friendly Morning staff who gives you advice on where to go depending on the weather and least but not last the dynamic evening duo: Andrea and Roberto. The perfect examples of professional evening hosts. Roberto with his excellent service - at the same time professional and personal - and making things happens and Andrea the magician who made actually professional magic tricks. Impressive and the perfect match enjoying the quality wine list. Just go!

It starts with the personnel, everybody seems genuinely glad to have you as a guest and is willing to help you with any question or request. Breakfast is abundant and we were assigned a table for our whole stay, this also means we were greet every morning by the same staff that quickly learned our preferences. The SPA is the 'secret gem' of this hotel. Spacious, brand new, well attended, an oasis for that rainy day. We enjoyed Federico's Aufguss sauna ceremony every day of our stay. Some other activities and entertainment were offered during the week as part of our stayed that made it very special and enjoyable. This hotel was our favorite of our northern Italy trip and would come back without a doubt. Highly recommended.
