it’s a family business run by a lovely family that knows how to make you feel welcome and comfortable. They are extremely helpful and kind and manage to have a place like a 5 star hotel. The rooms are extremely comfortable and perfect to have a relaxing time. The breakfast was also excellent, the owner prepares the cakes that are served and they are delicious!

I loved everything. It is an ideal place to stay when visiting catania as you are near buses if you want to go around. If you need a restaurant there are plenty. The staff is very kind and ready to help at any time .

The room was spacious, clean, nicely decorated and had a comfortable bed. The welcome was very warm, including clear checkin instructions and a bonus welcome ‘surprise’ from a local deli nearby. The location is perfect for a ‘base’ when visiting Ortigia, with parking close by, away from crowded areas but close enough to everything. Also worth to mention very friendly staff who took care of us and replied to messages within minutes. And a nice bonus, free mini bar with water, soft drinks and delicious snacks! Highly recommend this place for staying in Ortigia!

Modica Boutique Hotel was a perfect location to use as a central base to explore the area (Noto, Ragusa, Scicli, Palazzolo and also the coast such as Sampieri). Adriano at Reception was extremely pleasant and helpful to answer our questions and make recommendations. Try the Ciauru Anticu Trattoria nearby. Our room (#30) was functional, modern, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and seemed very new. The breakfast buffet was the very best we had among our 8 accommodations touring around Sicily. Just incredible. Imagine helping yourself to Gelato for breakfast! Beautiful outdoor pool/patio and free parking. We loved everything about this place and would highly recommend.

It has a fantastic view above Cefalú and the ocean, very relaxing and beautiful. The room is clean and modern, equipped with coffee machine, water cooker and microwave. The host is very helpful. It is the best stay I had in Sicily during my whole vacation week.

Wonderful rooms, facilities and lovely staff. Great breakfast, lunches and bar by the pool. Very calm and relaxing atmosphere, in a lovely city with great nearby restaurants and not overcrowded with tourists. We watched the sunset from the rooftop Jacuzzi, which was a very nice experience! We traveled with car which I'd recommend as the city of Agrigento, the Valley of the Temples and several beaches and vineyards are close by and worth visiting during your stay here.
