The Mosaic City Hotel is a small and friendly hotel in the heart of Madaba, within easy walking distance of the Church of St George and the famous mosaic map of the Holy Land. Grande chambre avec un lit confortable. Il est aisé de marcher en ville à partir de l’hôtel. Nous y avons soupé le premier soir, le choix à la carte, au bar, est diversifié. Stationnement gratuit apprécié. On nous a aussi permis de quitter un peu tardivement sans frais supplémentaire.

The location is great, right in the center of everything in Madaba. The owner, Omar, is a wonderful person who truly loves what he does and puts his heart into his work. 🫶 It is important to him that you are satisfied, and he will do everything to make your stay pleasant and make you feel at home. He welcomed us with open arms and a bunch of helpful tips. The lobby is excellent for socializing and drinking coffee or tea, which Omar also offers to guests for free, but we didn’t have much time; I believe we will return with friends and have the opportunity then. The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast is good, and the whole place feels like home. Omar will be your best host during your travels in Jordan (even though the others were great too, but he was really acting like a family member), and you can really see that he loves what he does and lives for it. Parking can always be found in the street if you come by car 😉

The area is very safe and peaceful, ideal for relaxed exploration, whether you're strolling to nearby landmarks or just enjoying the local atmosphere. As a bonus, there are a few friendly neighborhood cats that added a touch of warmth and personality to our stay—definitely a highlight for animal lovers! Highly recommended for travelers looking for comfort, culture, and heartfelt hospitality. Would absolutely stay here again!

We had a short but great stay at Maria Home. The host communicated with us well the whole time and was very accommodating while we arrived in the middle of the night. The apartment was as described, clean and we had everything we needed.

We stayed here upon our late night arrival into Jordan, locating it quite easy, even in the dark. We actually liked it so much we stayed here on our last night in Jordan as well. It’s actually a great base for the entire region, just outside of Amman, but within easy reach of the Dead Sea and many other tourist attractions of central and northern Jordan. Plenty of free parking on site in a secure lot. We received a very warm welcome from the owner and he made sure our stay was top notch and worry free. All of the staff here were excellent – very service focused , friendly, and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious, with fridge and AC and good Wifi internet. We weren’t bothered by any outside city noises (contrary to some previous reviews) and had a great sleep. We were impressed that all of the minibar drinks and snacks were complimentary – nice touch! The breakfast was amazing! Plenty of fresh fruit and traditional Jordanian dishes, and it turned out to be the best breakfast we experienced during our 2 weeks in Jordan. We absolutely loved it! Plus the fact you can sit outside and eat it. We also had our best evening meal in Jordan here as well – not to be missed!! Surprisingly, there is a very well-equipped gym on site. Plenty of cardio gear and lots of free weights and machine weights.
