From the beautifully curated Japanese-style interiors to the artisanal artwork in every corner, every detail felt carefully chosen and deeply rooted in local culture. Even the toilet was a highlight—one of the latest high-tech models, adding a fun modern touch to the traditional setting. We were warmly welcomed with generous gifts, including a bottle of fresh mikan juice and delicious local snacks. The lady who handled our check-in was incredibly kind and made us feel at home right away. I genuinely loved every bit of this stay. Entei is not just accommodation—it’s an experience. A dream, really. I’ll be recommending it to everyone I know.

I like a softer bed and many are on the harder side in Japan, the beds were perfect and cozy after a day of riding the Shimanami. The arrival and departure were very easy and required no waiting around.

The facilities in general were easy to access and there's plenty of space for yourself in the room and also in the "lounge" area to hang around. The ryoukan itself was very beautiful with a garden right next to the room. I liked that they provided a short guide of different restaurants and POI of the nearby area. Overall I felt extremely well taken care of.

All the amenities were spot on, and even the shared bathroom was really clean. Koji was super helpful too. The island is beautiful and really well set up for tourists had an awesome time!
