Staying at Morizuya was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. This cozy, family-run ryokan radiates warmth and hospitality. Manager Hachisuka and his family do everything they can to make you feel at home, and our stay truly exceeded expectations. The ryokan is charming and traditional. We stayed in a spacious, comfortable tatami room with beautiful décor and a view of a peaceful garden. The room included a private toilet and sink, while bathing is done in their private onsen (yes, private — no need to bathe with others if that makes you uncomfortable). Morizuya provides yukata for men and women, sandals, bags, towels, and an onsen pass for the town’s seven public baths. Women can also choose a kimono for going out around town and shopping, while men can (and should!) relax in their yukata for this same purpose. I especially want to highlight how Manager Hachisuka truly went above and beyond. He’s not only an excellent photographer — taking beautiful photos of my fiancée and me among the cherry blossoms and guiding us to great photo spots — but also incredibly kind and attentive. He personally helped us with our schedule and drove us to the station early in the morning to ensure we caught our train on time. That level of care is something we’ll never forget. If you’re unsure where to stay, I strongly recommend Morizuya. We left with beautiful and unforgettable memories of this warm and authentic experience in Kinosaki. A few quick tips about the bath: There are two onsen inside the inn. From 7 AM to 3 PM, they’re public (men/women separated). From 3 PM to 11 PM they become private — no reservation needed. If the door’s unlocked, it’s available. Go in, lock the door behind you and enjoy. You’re welcome to bathe with your family or partner. Be sure to shower and clean yourself before entering the bath. Walking around town in your yukata(or kimono) is part of the charm, so don’t be shy — it’s all part of the experience.

Migumiya Ryokan ligt in Toyooka, op 3,3 km van Kinumaki Shrine en 4,7 km van Seto Shrine, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Akaishiya 城崎温泉旅館 赤石屋 is gelegen in Kinosaki, op 2,6 km van Kinumaki Shrine, en biedt accommodatie met gratis fietsen, gratis privéparkeren en een tuin. Beautiful and peaceful hotel in a fantastic location near the public onsens. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Private onsen and sauna are also well worth a visit. Rooms were large and very comfortable (ours did not have a shower though). Would definitely stay again.

「淡路島一棟貸宿 野うさぎ 」高台から海を望む貸別荘！2023年新築離れの素泊まり is gelegen in Noda en biedt gratis WiFi en uitzicht op de zee. Amazing host, always reachable and helpful, fantastic accommodation with Karaoke and BBQ (Optional, you get BBQ and camp fire set, also pizza oven as well) . View was beautiful and calming.

Villa CORTILE bevindt zich in Awaji en biedt een tuin en een gedeelde lounge. Excellent place to stay with extra quirks like the sauna! Right next to a beautiful cafe and location is good to drive to many locations.

Fairfield by Marriott Hyogo Awaji Higashiura ligt in Awaji, op 27 km van Akashi-Kaikyo-brug en 33 km van Noevir Stadium Kobe. Absolutely beautiful rooms and location. Quiet and beautiful, I was sad to leave. Incredibly friendly staff - would highly recommend to anyone visiting Awaji of travelling through as you get five star service at a very reasonable rate.

The property owner was very kind and accommodating. The location was also very convenient - there's a gas station right in front of the property, a convenience store about a 5 minute walk away, and it's fairly close to many popular restaurants and attractions on Awaji. The guest house was also very cute and perfect for one person.
