This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way! 5 minute walk from the train station and central area for restaurants, super clean, room was big and the bed was comfortable, quiet at night even though it's close to the train station, the free ramen was delicious and the onsen was 10x better than we expected - seemed new, very modern and clean, with a view of the Japanese alps and an indoor and outdoor area. Great value and we wish we had stayed for an extra night!

Sharing the bathroom was no problem at all, we didn’t even feel like it was a shared bathroom it was always available for us. A highly memorable experience in Matsumoto!
