Both of them were very nice, I don’t know a lot of Japanese but we still managed to talk on Japanese and English and they were so lovely! We found some same interests that we all liked so it was even easier to talk. Really really nice owners. You can also meet a lot of other people there from all around the world and I personally didn’t mind waiting for the bathroom. Breakfast was very delicious and always different! I really can’t say anything bad maybe my best stay in Japan until now and will try to come back again and see how my new friends are doing. You can rent towels or a toothbrush or bring your own. I felt like home and wish i stayed longer. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

The ryokan has family rooms. The location can't be beat. Perfectly halfway between Nara and Osaka, the ryokan itself is tucked away on this incredible pedestrian street, leading up to a beautiful temple that you might have all to yourself to explore. And you get there by cat car! The whole thing feels like stumbling on a wonderful secret. Excellent traditional breakfast, the hosts are so lovely and accommodating. Can't recommend highly enough.

He called a restaurant to make a reservation for which he recommended and it was one of the best yakiniku places we’ve been to. We also went out to a karaoke bar with him and we had a great time! It was a nice property but the host made the experience even better!

Set within 29 km of Subaru Hall and 40 km of Saifuku-ji Temple in Gojō, 奈良五條の宿 彩 irodori Private lodging features accommodation with seating area. Miyuki was wonderful: very helpful; charming and a terrific cook! The place could be a little hard to find but Miyuki picked us up at the station and it turns out there's an easy 15-minute walk to Suda station that's not on Google maps. It's a semi-rural setting and quite peaceful and was a great base for us for a day at Koyasan. The facilities were very modern and spotless and Miyuki's breakfasts were wonderful. Highly reommended, if the location suits you (as it did us.)
