L’établissement Urasa Cottage @ Snow Countryside vous accueille à Minami Uonuma, à respectivement 29 km et 25 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Station de ski de Gala Yuzawa et Station de ski de Maiko. I’ve been staying at Urasa Cottage for a couple of days, and I must say I truly felt at home. The host is very friendly, and the house is quite new and clean. It’s also not too far from the station. I already miss it ❤️ I’ll be back soon~

We stayed here with our family during a two-week road trip around Japan, starting in Tokyo and staying in six different places along the way. Out of all the accommodations we booked, Sundance Resort Naeba was our clear favorite by a huge margin. The unit is incredibly spacious, with a stunning two-story window overlooking the snow-covered mountains. When it snows, it genuinely feels like you’re looking out at a giant snow globe. The apartment had far more space than our family of three needed, featuring a master bedroom on the second floor, another bedroom on the first floor, and two beds in each room. Cleanliness was not an issue at all, the place was spotless. It’s also very well equipped, with a pantry, dining table, heated floors, two toilets (each with its own bathtub), and a laundry room on the first floor. Another highlight was the privacy: the building is divided into north and south wings, with only one unit per floor, making the stay feel very exclusive and peaceful. At night, the resort was wonderfully quiet and serene, likely because we were there at the very start of the ski season, before the crowds arrived and while many nearby businesses were still closed. The staff were exceptional, always friendly, warm, and attentive. They even spoiled my wife with sweets and snacks throughout our stay. As a bonus, our booking included a delightful breakfast each morning. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. It was truly a fantastic and memorable stay Oh yeah there's free parking too for those driving up.

Situé à Sado, l’établissement ホステルたつみや comprend un jardin, un salon commun, une terrasse et une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite. Un parking privé gratuit est disponible sur place. Very new and clean, dorm bed was comfortable and warm. Staff spoke some English and were super friendly. They provided parking at the cafe across the street when I told them I was renting a scooter. You can use the kitchen to store food in the fridge and prepare meals - cutlery and pots/pans are included. The hostel is a 30 minute bus ride from Ryotsu Port and is walking distance to a supermarket and the beach.

L’établissement Noka Minshuku Sanzen vous accueille à 24 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Station de ski de Gala Yuzawa. We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful, authentic old Japanese home. Its location is perfect for exploring the Echigo-Tsumari Art Festival, and there are plenty of onsens (hot springs) to enjoy nearby.We didn't even use the shower, preferring the onsens! ​The house itself is a hidden gem, a testament to the owners' wonderful aesthetic sense. It's filled with beautiful old and antique Japanese treasures. It is clean, well-maintained, and truly a piece of art in its own right. Above all, the owners were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit.

Definitely one of the best stay experience so far in Japan. The hosts are extremely good and I am out of words to describe how welcoming they are. They took care of every small thing we needed and beyond that. They guided us through all the necessary details of the town, gave us a short tour of the town and also dropped and picked us up from the ski resort. The entire property has floor heating and was so clean, comfortable and cozy. I am really thankful to them for all the efforts they have made to make our trip a memorable one.

Our hosts welcomed us with exceptional hospitality and helped us solved any problems. The onsen was the perfect way to end each day.

Doté d'un accès skis aux pieds et d'un local à skis, le Belle Vue Nishiura est situé à Minami Uonuma, dans la région de Niigata, à 3 minutes à pied de la station de ski Ishiuchi-Maruyama. C’était super, de la gentillesse de l’hôte à l’emplacement en passant par le petit déjeuner délicieux ! Super séjour, encore merci, arigato gozaimasu !

Situé à Minamiuonuma, à 2 km de la station de ski Maiko Snow Resort, l'établissement Maruyama Onsen Kojyokan dispose d'une terrasse et d'un bain thermal. The staff was accommodating, kind, and helpful. The shuttle was super convenient, as was scheduling. The food was amazing!

Le Yuzawa Grand Hotel se trouve à 2 minutes à pied de la gare d'Echigo Yuzawa et du musée du Saké. Il propose 3 bains publics, un service de massage et un parking gratuit sur place. Beautiful place. Wonderful view.

Situé au cœur de paysages paisibles, le Kogakuro propose d'agréables chambres de style japonais baignées de lumière naturelle. I loved the space of the room. The breakfast was incredible. So much choice and so well cooked
