The washing machine worked great and was a lifesaver halfway through our vacation. Takeo itself is lovely, definitely pay a visit to the library and the camphor tree and both restaurants we visited were out of this world.

The photo doesn't do it justice. Everything looked new, clean, and spacious. There is shared kitchen and bath. Location is great, it is quiet, close to the beach, Karatsu Castle, and Niji No Matsubara Pine Grove. If you are coming by car, be sure to message the owner so he can tell you where to park for free.
