I loved the onsen and their massage chairs, and you can borrow manga if you'd like. The breakfast, a mixture of Japanese and Western, was delicious. In the evening they even serve noodles as a late-night snack.

It was a very enjoyable experience. Please do mind that most activity plays at the other part of Matsushima, which is about half an hour walking.
