It is quite far off the beaten track, so would need a car to get there. About 30 minutes drive from Koyasan on a mountain road. Would be a great base to explore the area over a couple of days.

The staff were exceptional, the room was large, clean and quiet, and the breakfast was outstanding. We also had Club Lounge access, which was a slice of heaven. The hotel was in walking distance to Nagoya Station as well for all our transportation needs. This hotel checked all the boxes and we wish we could have stayed longer!

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. Please pay in cash or by card upon check-in. Guests under 12 years old are exempt from the lodging tax. Spacious! Which is hard to find for dormitories. And exceptionally clean. Really appreciated the quiet ambience and comfortable lounge, with complimentary tea and drip coffee. Lots of manga and books to browse through, along with a thorough sightseeing and food map. Also a very cute variety of Ghibli decorations and memorabilia in the lounge area. Location is close to Takayama Eki but in the snow it was a bit hard to go to and from with a wheel suitcase. Any other weather and it is completely walkable.
