Jeden Abend gibt es ein Lagerfeuer und super leckeres Essen. Man darf kein riesen Buffet erwarten, für uns war es so aber vollkommen okay. Man bekommt authentische kenianische Küche. Danke dafür :)! Die Toiletten und Duschen waren stets sauber, das Personal super freundlich. Für zwischendurch gibt es verschiedene Brettspiele, Dart usw. Die Ausflüge haben wir alle über das Camp organisiert, ebenso die Fahrten. Das hat alles sehr gut geklappt. Den Bushwalk mit Nelson können wir sehr empfehlen! Auch die über das Camp organisierte Safari mit Allan war so toll - wir haben wunderschöne Erinnerungen gesammelt. Man hat Allan richtig angemerkt, dass er auch selbst mit viel Begeisterung dabei ist. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen 😊. Danke an das Team vom Kambu Mara Camp für den tollen Aufenthalt bei euch. **English below** The camp is beautifully located, and the tents offer a fantastic view. Sleeping in the tents is a little adventure in itself :). Every evening there’s a campfire and delicious food. You shouldn’t expect a huge buffet, but for us, it was absolutely fine. You get authentic Kenyan cuisine – thank you for that :)! The toilets and showers were always clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly. There are board games, darts, and more available for some fun in between. We organized all our excursions and transport through the camp, and everything worked out perfectly. We can highly recommend the bushwalk with Nelson! The safari organized through the camp with Allan was also amazing – we made unforgettable memories. You could really tell that Allan was enthusiastic and passionate about what he does. We felt completely comfortable and would definitely come back 😊. Thank you to the team at Kambu Mara Camp for the wonderful stay with you!

Die Unterkunft Olkinyei Mara Tented Camp, die in Talek gelegen ist, bietet Gartenblick sowie ein Restaurant, einen Zimmerservice, eine Bar, einen Garten und eine Terrasse. Unglaublich schöne Unterkunft inmitten eines kleinen Wäldchens, daher tagsüber schön schattig. Die Lage direkt vor dem Talek Gate ist perfekt für tägliche Safaris. Das Personal ist unglaublich bemüht, nett und hilfsbereit! Auch die Zelte sind sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Essen im Restaurant war fabelhaft, da ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Als Höhepunkt müssen wir die zweitägige Safari mit Joseph herausheben, die alle Erwartungen übertroffen hat! Wir haben hier einen wirklich absolut perfekten Aufenthalt verbracht!

The stay could not be better; the camp is very neat, and the staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Mr Magdy, the owner. He is very polite and helpful; he cares deeply about all the details. He made my stay effortless and was very helpful. I recommend the camp to my friends, and they will definitely book with him.

SPECTACULAR Eco Lodge in one of the most beautiful places, a two-minute drive from the Iconic Masai Mara, and since fortunately the park is not fenced you can see the animals walking on the river below or even in the Lodge garden and at night you are pampered by the voices of the mythical animals ... it feels like being in a documentary. There is always a Masai very attentive to checking our safety due to the presence of animals, his name is Moses and I thank him from the heart. The staff and the food were excellent, the rooms and tents beautiful, the cleanliness impeccable. The two owners are exquisite people, Abdul assisted me from home a lot, but he was not present at the time of my stay, he had warned me there was the other owner who was an excellent host! I hurt myself during a safari and he helped me immediately by giving me an ointment against the pain that he also gave me and providing information on the closest clinic to my drivers. He is a National Geographic photographer and the reseption is a jewel full of his wonderful photos. This place is spectacular for where it is located, it is like sleeping inside the park, for the excellent work that the owners and staff do every day (including the Masai), and it has very honest prices. For the location and the place they could be very expensive and instead with their honesty in the prices they also allow less wealthy people to enjoy that atmosphere that my group and I will never forget. I conclude by adding a value, nothing artificial, nothing that clashes with the environment, there are places with a truly luxurious pomp that are not in line with the Savannah and the location, they take away all the magic, the Talek No, is a wonderful ecolodge, where the love and respect for animals can also be read in the signs hanging on the wall: Do you love animals? Mit Blick auf den Fluss Talek bietet das Mara Ihnen elegant eingerichtete Zelte auf erhöhten Plattformen und eine Terrasse mit einer Bar, von der aus Sie Tiere beobachten können. Amazing location, hospitality, food, game drives, & arrangements. We had our best time on vacation. Will definately be back once more. Thank you Mara Intrepids for making our time so special. Die Unterkunft Mara Hilltop bietet einen Außenpool, einen Garten, eine Terrasse und eine Bar in Sekenani. We had an amazing stay at Mara Hilltop – truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! The view was breathtaking, and the tent was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully set up. Special thanks to Chef Allan for the delicious meals, and to Lucia and Steve who were always so helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Our game drives were unforgettable with Ken, an excellent driver who made sure we saw the Big 5! In Nairobi, John was also a great driver who took care of us very well. One of the highlights of our trip was the nature walk with Dickson – he was such a knowledgeable and engaging guide, making it an incredible experience. A huge thank you to NJ, a very patient owner who always responded to all my queries, and to Nick, who went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort, even checking in with us on our way home. Everything was so wonderful that we ended up extending our stay. We highly recommend Mara Hilltop Camp to anyone visiting the Masai Mara – you will not be disappointed!

Die in Talek gelegene Unterkunft Kobe Mara bietet kostenloses WLAN, einen Garten mit einer Terrasse sowie Gartenblick. Wir hatten eine unglaublich schöne Zeit in der Unterkunft, so sehr, dass wir beinahe keine Safaris unternehmen wollten. Die Unterkunft an sich ist fast wie eine Safari: Giraffen, Antilopen, Zebras,... alles um einen herum. Wir konnten uns trotzdem zu jeder Zeit wohl und sicher fühlen, da jederzeit das Personal die Tierwelt wachsam im Auge hatte. Das Essen war sehr lecker und ausgewogen. Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insbesondere danken wir Joshua und Jonathan, welche stets ansprechbar waren und unseren Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht haben.

I really appreciated how friendly and helpful Anne was...she made checking in a breeze and gave great local tips. The house was spotless and cozy, with one comfortable bed, reliable Wi-Fi, and a kitchenette stocked with everything I needed. It sits down a quiet lane but is just a one-minute walk from a small supermarket, and only a five-to-ten-minute drive into Narok town. Just a heads-up: there’s no breakfast provided, so if you want something in the morning you’ll need to pick up supplies or head into town.
