The room is very stylish and spacious, and the furniture the villa's owner made is gorgeous. The garden with comfortable chairs, hammocks, and swings is so cozy. The owners are very helpful and friendly. In Kampot, there is no need to stay in the city center - staying at this villa and traveling by bicycle, motorbike, or tuk-tuk is a much better idea. A lovely wooden restaurant on the villa's territory was built by his owner. In this restaurant, his wife cooks. All the dishes were delicious! We enjoyed every minute at this villa and hope to come back)

We had a great stay at Camping Kampot! This lovely green campsite, nestled in the peaceful hills outside the city, is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Kampot. Though it’s a little out of town, it’s easily reached by tuk-tuk — and well worth the short ride. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, surrounded by nature, making it a great place to unwind. The owner is incredibly friendly, helpful, and flexible — always around with a smile and ready to assist with anything you need. One of the highlights? The natural swimming pond! There’s nothing better than jumping in for a refreshing dip during or after a hot day. If you're looking for tranquility and a taste of nature just outside the city, Camping Kampot is an absolute gem!

The Seagull boasts a handy tour desk and is just a five-minute walk from the vibrant riverfront promenade, where you'll find the lively night and seafood markets, diverse quality restaurants, the serene Lotus Pond, the dazzling Seahorse fountain and light show, and unique floating restaurants. Beyond the hotel, I discovered the incredibly friendly community of Krong Kampot 💙. For anyone visiting Kampot, I wouldn't stay anywhere else. ✨👍😊

Host has very reasonable & good motorcycle scooters for hire too.

The location is perfect, just by the calming river and still close to the city, with delicious home made food and everything you need for a perfect stay.

Only good things to report :) Very comfortable, with lovely (& large) rooms located on 2 floors around a nice swimming pool. It takes less than 10 minutes to get to the centre/river (by scooter or tuktuk). But as it is out of the hustle of the town, you can hear birds and the wind in the palm trees from your window. A great place to settle and relax. We stayed 2 weeks altogether across various reservations and I do recommend spending more than a couple of nights, as there is plenty to do around (mountain, sea, river, sports, dining, pepper plantation, lake, markets, etc) and still have time to relax by the pool. We did not have time to get bored. The bed is good (neither too hard nor to soft), as are pillows. Room service is very thorough. Breakfast is good, with a variation between a-la-carte and buffet days. It can get a bit repetitive over a long stay like ours and is not especially vegetarian or vegan friendly if you don’t ask for it. But they will cater for you upon request and are looking into improving their vegetarian offer. The swimming pool is large and very clean, and long enough for laps. Best of all is the staff, including receptionist Som Moniroth, who are always doing their best to help with any situation and resolve everyday issues promptly. Overall, Hillocks is great value for money and we will definitely come back if in Kampot again.
