This is one of, if not, the BEST homestays I’ve ever stayed in on my travels. The private bungalows were spacious, clean, hot water, a good mosquito net and an added bonus of having a kettle in the room. This being said, the thing that really made my stay was the owner and his family. He was so kind and helped with anything I needed without being too pushy or forcing anything upon me. He truly wants the best for his guests and, as a new business, is learning every day! Sharing family dinner every night, his wife’s amazing cooking with huge portions and his incredibly cute and cheerful daughter - thank you so much for leaving a great impression of Cambodia on my last few days here♥️😊

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very much a family endeavor. Smey built the cabins himself. They were set in a lovely, clean, and well tended garden. Smey was always helpful in answering questions, suggesting restaurants etc. and we hired him for a day tour of some nearby villages, which was interesting. The Homestay is away from town, so we rented a scooter and that worked out perfectly but tuktuks are also available. All in all Tribal Homestay was a perfect place for us in Ban Lung and we felt lucky to have spent time there.

Everything that a solo traveller need ! The family was incredibly welcoming, The food was great and they invite you to English classes with the kids. We did a 3 days trek in the jungle (90 dollars per person / person).I can only recommend this activity, you’ll sleep in Hamac and taste the amazing jungle food prepared by the guide. For solo traveller, they put you in other groups. A true authentic experience.

The owners are very friendly and can provide all you need. They organised for me a 5-day trek (with guides Smey and Mr Neng) in the park which was wonderful! A unique experience.

Nos enfants se sont sentis heureux dans cette famille! Soeun a également organisé notre trek! C était vraiment génial ! Merci de réserver 2 jours avant le départ pour l aider à organiser au mieux votre expédition et surtout de respecter votre engagement si vous lui demander de tout organiser pour vous !

C'est un super endroit pour dormir au calme. La chambre est très propre, le lit spacieux et la guesthouse bien située pour rayonner autour de Banlung. Possibilités de faire un trek dans la jungle avec Mr Happy et de passer un bon moment. Je recommande !

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, especially the fantastic restaurant food and the very comfortable, roomy accommodations. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean, roomy for us and our travel gear.

The bungalows were very clean and comfortable during our stay. The grounds are in the process of even more beautification as the lovely owner lady is adding a pond area to the already pretty gardens on the property. The staff were very helpful and took care of our driver by offering a couple of options for his accommodations as well. We did not eat at the property but the food smelled delicious as we strolled by.
