The property has 3 innovative restaurants and 2 bars, and it is Colombo’s largest and stylish event spaces. 5 star hotel. Room bit outdated. Otherwise confortable and located on the sea. Beach not really to visit (the Port City will most probably upgrade it in the future). Great breakfast (as ShangriLa has). Good in-house restaurants but expensive. The food was nevertheless very good. Nice pool on 4th floor. Extra services (transfers, spa , etc) way overpriced (transfer to airport was 75 usd quoted by the hotel while a reputable taxi Kangaroo company with invoice and metre took me to the airport for 23 usd). Conected to a Mall with lots of shopping oportunities.

View was amazing you can see lotus tower from the balcony. The swimming pool is great. They have an air conditioned room to sit in while the kids swim and a play area by the pool. kFC and Pizza Hut very close 3 supermarkets within walking distance they also have options to eat in them. There are some nice Sri Lankan food places near by as well. We had a two bedroom apartment there were 3 air conditioned units in it one in each bed room all worked well. One shower has good pressure the water was not hot hot but was ok. It is very clean and tidy. The agent is awesome sent details through prior to arrival and was available via what’s app if we had any questions That it does need is pool towels there are not any only white towels at the pool is difficult. They have washing machine so you can wash them and a drying rack on the balcony. What would have been nice would have been instructions on how to use the TV we just didn’t watch it and was not a big deal we could have asked if we wanted to.

The Saturday walking tour guided by the boys is a great opportunity to socialize, learn and eat some delicious food at the market.
