Der Mitarbeiter Sanath hat uns immer geholfen und uns sogar ein Tag lang für eine Tour mit dem Fahrzeug begleitet für einen fairen Preis. Zudem hat Sanath uns zum sinrise hike sehr früh morgens hin gefahren, was sehr nett von ihm war. Außerdem war das Zimmer sehr schön und der Pool eine angenehme Abkühlung.

The staff at the hotel are absolutely incredible - so thoughtful and kind, helpful in so many ways. They made our stay extra special and made us feel cared for and welcome. Dhananjaya was so friendly and attentive and made sure that we had delicious breakfast each morning.

The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. The Golden Crown Hotel was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my entire trip through Sri Lanka including Colombo, the north, and other regions. The service, friendliness, and atmosphere were absolutely exceptional. Everything felt perfectly balanced professional yet genuinely warm. A few people made the experience truly unforgettable. Dananjaya was always helpful, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. He really made my stay more enjoyable with his positive energy. Mlhirini had such a kind and welcoming presence. She constantly made sure I had everything I needed and was always up for a nice conversation. So caring and attentive. Roshan, the manager, is a truly kind person. Under his leadership, the service was simply outstanding. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. If you’re looking for real hospitality and excellent service, this is the place. I’ll definitely come back!

Such a beautiful stay! The water cottages are spacious and clean with everything you need. A unique, authentic experience with a beautiful pool. The owners were so helpful, they organized a taxi to pick us up from Negombo and one to take us to Kandy for very reasonable prices. They also gave us a tuk tuk to Pidurangala rock so we could climb it for sunrise, and waited for us to return. We had a delicious meal of Sri Lankan curries cooked by one of the owners - one of the best meals of the trip. We couldn't recommend this place enough.

Nice and friendly hosts, comfortable beds with mosquito nets, just 10 min walking from a restaurant but at night it can be a bit scary for some people to walk alone (super dark), overall a great experience!

It’s a family that runs this place. Everyone was very nice, welcoming, and helpful. The place is a little off the main road and Saman and his son always helped us with getting around. They also helped us with booking all the tours, taxis and tuktuk drivers. The room was very clean, with A/c. Very nice breakfast with great view to their lovely green garden.
