Der Manager arrangierte einen Ausflug zur Elefanten Safari mit einem sehr guten Fahrer für angemessenes Geld. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Waren traurig weiter zu fahren. Super Lage um die alte Königsstadt anzusehen

Der Ausblick vom Balkon auf den recht naturbelassenen Garten und die ruhige Umgebung haben uns sehr gefallen. Wir konnten Vögel, Streifenhörnchen, Schmetterlinge, Pfaue und Warane vom Balkon aus beobachten. Der See und einzelne Badestellen an kleinen Bächen waren zu Fuß sehr gut erreichbar. The host Binara and his family were great! They made tasty breakfast and dinner for us and organized a Safari as well as a bicycle tour to see the sunrise. We enjoyed the view from the balcony onto the garden and the quiet atmosphere in general. We were able to watch birds, squirrels, butterflies, peacocks and warans from the balcony. It‘s only a few minutes walk to the lake and some small rivers where it‘s possible to swim.

I really like that Ruins Villa was away from the city itself and along a very quiet track not far from the ruins. It was such a peaceful location with lots of lush plants around. I was surprised by the canal and how beautiful it is and enjoyed seeing it while in the way to the villa. Upali is an exceptional host and I really enjoyed getting to know home and more about his place. He was so helpful and kind…I rented a bike from him to explore the ruins nearby; he took me and the bike in his run rule so I could start at the entrance and finish at the end gate which was near his place. I ate breakfast and dinner there also - delicious and healthy!

Das Tishan Holiday Resort begrüßt Sie in Bendiwewa in der Region Polonnaruwa. Die archäologische Stätte liegt 3,5 km vom Tishan Hotel entfernt. Our room was extremely clean and that seems to be rare in Sri Lanka. There was no humidity marks at all in our room. The outside pool area is just so beautiful. The pool is super clean, went for a great swim. The property is surrounded by rice fields and has plenty of wildlife.The rooms are a little out dated but thats ok since everything else is great and clean. Plenty of workers trimming plants and cleaning property. Breakfast buffet also was great. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.
