A perfect place to stay for our first night in sri lanka The newly built hotel was beautiful with each bedroom overlooking the palm fringed beach and the ocean. We went for a swim in the sea and strolled along the beach which was really clean.We had supper in the restaurant which was really good.

The food in the restaurant was really good and all cooked fresh to order. The hosts were also very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay in Kalpitiya!

Lovely stay in the middle of the jungle with the nicest staff. Every evening, a lovely buffet is prepared with all sorts of curries which are delicious. You can also book a safari with them. We would recommend the full day tour. Highly recommend this place if you visit Wilpattu!

The host and cook is amazing and he makes delicious meals. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom is partially open air which was really cool. The hammocks and tables made it a peaceful haven. The pool was still being made when I went but it will be a really nice addition. I highly recommend this place.

Fabulous! The host is really friendly and kind. We had a super tasty and variated dinner, local food self service style with an explanation of every dish! Spectacular! The room was peacefull and tidy, sleeping with all the forest noises was fabulous. We highly reccomend to stay here!

Great friendly staff, food was brilliant value for money especially for evening meal, the rooms were something out of this world though. From the outside bathrooms, to big comfy bed. The peace and tranquility of this place was amazing and we are going back to celebrate my friends birthday in a few months

The location is superb for relaxing at the beachfront. The food was amazing, and breakfast was excellent. The seafood platter for dinner was superb. I highly recommend it for visitors to stay here.

The Backwaters lodge has everything that a naturelover is looking for. We really had the best time here in the middle of nowhere close to the Wilpattu National Park. The staff is really helpfull and very friendly, the rooms are right into nature but still have the luxury of having warm water and AC, great and an extended breakfast and dinner, I can go on and on. If you want to go on a safari at Wilpattu they can arrange a private jeep for you (which is a must do ofcourse). Further to fill in your time you can just hang out at the beautifull chillspots on the ponds or in the jungle or you could go kayaking with the kayaks available at the lodge. We wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the lodge a little more.

Die Unterkunft Surfpoint Sri Lanka Kite Village hat einen Garten, einen eigenen Strandbereich, eine Gemeinschaftslounge und eine Terrasse in Kalpitiya. Sehr saubere, großzügige Zimmer. Schöne Lage direkt am Meer. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter und leckeres Essen. Kitenlernen mit der Crew hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Würden wieder herkommen.

Die Unterkunft Sandy Edge, die in Kalpitiya gelegen ist, bietet Gartenblick sowie ein Restaurant, einen Zimmerservice, eine Bar und einen Garten. Eine sehr schöne Anlage „in zweiter Reihe“, ruhig gelegen, lädt auch zum Verweilen ein, wenn man mal nicht in den Wind will. Sehr sauber und gepflegt. Gutes Bett, dichtes Moskitonetz, schönes Bad (ohne Warmwasser). Ein außergewöhnlich aufmerksamer und unterstützender Gastgeber weiß immer Rat und hat wertvolle Tipps. Die dolphin watching tour war beeindruckend.
