We had a lovely stay here for one night for the safari in Yala. The staff was incredibly tentative and kind, and allowed us to have a late checkout and relax by the pool after our safari which was perfect.

The staff were eager and happy to accomodate all our requests. Kirula in particular really helped us with his service. The location was perfect - right at the doorstep of the national park. Would love to go back here.

The room was perfectly comfortable with great facilities and cooling system. The host was an absolute standout of the property! He welcomed us with fresh king coconuts and then took us for a tour around the lake and rice fields, including showing us plenty of water birds and crocodiles. He also helped organise transport for us between locations and was fully responsible for organising our safari (where we saw a leopard)! It was a highlight of our trip to stay here and highly recommended it for anyone hoping to see Yala!

J’ai adoré mon séjour à Yala, la famille est tellement accueillante et peut organiser le safari pour nous. J’ai aussi pu aller faire un super tour de vélo prêté par le propriétaire pour aller voir le coucher de soleil. Bref tout était plus que parfait

L’hébergement Yala Wild Hut - Yala se situe à Tissamaharama, à 19 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Tissa Wewa. Tout était extraordinaire: staff aux petits soins. Repas supers et très copieux. Environnement pleine nature avec la sensation de vivre une véritable expérience. Tentes très haut de gamme, très confortable et agréable, tout en conservant un côté aventure.

The place is very simple but it has enough for a couple night staying. If you want some peace and a chill time before go to the crowder places in Sri Lanka I think is a right place. The owner was super kind and he helped us with everything You can also book a safari tour with the hostel. It was a fair price and the entrance of the N. Park you have there is much less crowdy than the most famous one. We could see many different animals, and our guide Weli was also very nice guy. He speaks good english and after the safari we shared a beer and a very nice talk. If you want visit a local village... Very recomended place!!! 10/10
