We had a wonderful time at Riad Yamcha. The riad is beautifully furnished. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful roof terrace. The location is perfect for exploring Meknes. Unfortunately, most of the sights were being renovated at the time of our stay (May 2024). If we had known this, we would probably have skipped Meknes. The riad was still a highlight. We also had dinner in the riad at a large table with the other guests - we can highly recommend the food here. If we travel to Meknes again, we will gladly book here again.

Fès Airport is an hour’s drive away and low-cost parking is available nearby. The most beautiful of the four riads we stayed in in Morocco. The shared spaces are almost like a gallery of applied arts. Large, comfortable bed. Three rooftop terraces! Extremely kind and understanding staff.

It has 3 panoramic rooftop terraces offering views of the Atlas Mountains and the Medina. This gorgeous riad is just steps from a street allowing taxi access and a pleasant walk to core destinations within the Meknes medina. The manager, Hassan, could not have been kinder or more helpful -- a million thanks! Wonderful food (generous breakfast and dinner), wine available if desired, comfortable room (the locally embroidered sheets were a sheer joy!), lovely roof-top terraces, clear attention to the details of decor and comfort. Wonderful!

It has a great ambience and you are surrounded by interesting objects and decoration. The owners are simply lovely, friendly, helpful and welcoming.

The 2-bedroom apartment is equipped with a living room with a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen and 1 bathroom. The accommodation is non-smoking. Well, first of all, the place is on the outskirts of Meknes. On the plus side is that there is a shopping centre not far from the apartment. On the negative side is that you are really in the middle of nowhere so you really need a car to get to the centre or a taxi. You can't just walk there as it is too far. But, as I came on a motorcycle, I didn't have that issue. Overall, a nice place for a couple of days.
