The toilets and showers were very clean. A magical paradise. The hut was perfectly cute right on the water front.

Che was an amazing host with lots of local recommendations and helped us book a scooter, ATV and gave us recommendations for horseback riding. This is an incredibly unique and beautiful cabin that Che built himself as a labour of love for his original home on Ometepe Island. We felt incredibly lucky to have stumbled on this absolute gem of a place to stay in one of the most special places in the world.

Super equiped kitchen, large and clean rooms, nice and welcoming common areas. Would definitely stay here again ! BUT : beware of mosquitos and don’t forget your repellant. And wifi is indeed not that great in the rooms.

The accommodation features a shared kitchen, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests. Great location in Balgue and the place is surrounded by nature, and despite this it is very clean. The owners are super kind and you can sense their love for this place. Tasty breakfast (homemade bread) and food available at the hostel (good italian food for lunch and dinner as one of the owners is Italian!). They were happy to provide advice and information on what to do in the area. Communal space upstairs was amazing and relaxing. The chickens running around the garden was giving exactly the vibes you get around Ometepe Island. Loved it here.

The facilities are very nice, everything is made out of Bamboo and the food cooked by Delfi is fresh and sooo tasty. You shouldn't miss this place If you are looking for a relaxed time on the Island. It is close to the starting point of the waterfall hike.
