The house itself is extremely well built with a perfect balance between cozyness and functionality, with great decoration and a mind blowing view. We went to Tromso aiming to experience the aurora but staying in this beautiful house almost stole the show!

It is outside Tromsø, perfect to have some quiet time, relax, and enjoy the scenery, and also a great spot to see the Northern Lights. The house is fully equipped and very clean. The accommodation provides a sauna, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. We cannot recommend this cabin enough- it’s in the most idyllic setting by a river. It is excellently equipped with- we cooked a full roast dinner for New Year’s Day. It’s cosy and warm. We stayed in polar winter and saw the aurora every night - even from the decking. We built campfires with the kids with cheap wood bought from the owner and had them in one of their fire pits. We went on excursions to see reindeer, go snow shoe walking (self hired with maps at Skibotn hotel) , went on a snowmobile trip and a dog sled trip. All these trips happen in Skibotn valley - many people travel daily from Tromsø here to do these activities - staying here meant we could spend more time enjoying ourselves rather than travelling Absolutely 5 star experience which I would recommend
