C'est un passionné qui va vraiment se donner à fond pour mettre toutes les chances de notre côté pour voir le plus d'animaux possible :) J'ai passé un magnifique séjour dans cet endroit calme et très nature, quel bien ça fait! Je recommande +++ !

We would get freshly prepared local Nepali food which was absolutely delicious! They have a wide selection of authentic local food to choose from. If you're in the right season, you can also get to try some fresh local honey! The location of the homestay is great, it is very close to the entrance of the national park. We had a great stay here, and had some incredible wildlife sightings (Rhinos, elephants, tigers, hornbills) thanks to the sharp eyes of Tek Bahadur (fondly called Pappu). Will definitely come to visit again!

Great place near the river, quiet, beautiful nature. Tasty food and Krishna helped me a lot to organize all kind of things. Bardia is still with little tourism, amazing wildlife and traditional villages straight out of the Jungle Book movie . I went by bicycle and many people greet you.

The stunning location by Bardia National Park provided the perfect mix of comfort and adventure. The staff was exceptional, always welcoming and helpful. The jeep safari was unforgettable—I spotted tigers, rhinos, elephants, and deer in their natural habitat. The elephant-back safari and birdwatching tours offered a unique way to experience the park’s rich biodiversity. Rafting on the Karnali River was another highlight, with sightings of crocodiles and Gangetic dolphins. After action-packed days, relaxing by the riverside, enjoying delicious Nepali food, and watching the sunset over the jungle was the perfect ending. This resort is a hidden gem and a must-visit for nature lovers!

We made the booking thinking we would be there purely for the jungle and the safari, but in reality we got so much more than that. Every member of the team - all beautiful and extremely kind persons - is working tirelessly to provide the highest quality. Every small detail is thought through: from de delicious meals and snacks during the safaris, to the cleanliness & cosyness of the bungalows and bar/chill area, the flexibility in organisation of the safaris, the sustainability of the lodge (not just hollow words, but real impactful actions), and so on. Pramesh is a passionate storyteller and during the communal dinners, which we loved, we learned so many things about the national park and the surroundings, its conservation and life in the village. For us, coming from Belgium where real nature is very scarse, it’s wonderful to see how life in a village is intertwined with that of the jungle and its wildlife. It’s difficult to describe in words how grateful we feel about everything we experienced here, but one thing is sure and that is that Sunsetview is one of the most special places we have ever stayed in. Initially we planned to be there for six days, we ended up staying nine and we still left with a heavy heart. Big thanks to Pramesh & Noémie, Anit, Amrit, Jogot and Anita (and little Paris of course). You guys really inspired us. Because of everything what you do, the world gets to be a better place. Keep up the fantastic work! We hope to see you all again in the future.

Excellente base pour un séjour dans la Bardia. Cadre de l'hébergement très agréable et tranquille, idéal pour faire une balade à pied ou à vélo. Nourriture savoureuse. Chambre spacieuse et salle de bain à l'occidental appréciable. Personnel très réactif et professionnel. Les gérants Sonja et Budhi sont très attentifs à la qualité du séjour, accueillants et aux petits soins. Les excursions proposées sont variées.

Le staff est d'une gentillesse incroyable, la cuisine est locale et vraiment bonne, le cadre est juste magnifique. Je recommande vivement de venir découvrir ce lieu magique, autant pour son jardin, sa tranquillité, la qualité et la bonté des gérants ou encore ses safaris !

Situé à Bardiyā, l’établissement Jungle Base Camp propose un jardin. Une terrasse, une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite et un parking privé gratuit sont mis à votre disposition sur place. Hukum, the owner and guide, worked so hard to make sure I had a good time. His wife provides the meals, which were excellent and organic (many of the items are from his own garden). He helped me plan an itinerary for my time there. His prices were reasonable for the excursions. I saw a tiger and elephant in the wild as well as many other species of birds and animals. Although it's significantly more expensive than the other day trips, I would recommend the rafting. It was peaceful and a unique way to see Bardiya.
