Akwaba lodge is located at the middle of Isla Solarte about a 10 minute boat ride ($10/person) from Bocas del Toro. It is on a hill overlooking the water and Isla Bastimentos Breakfast is included in your stay. Lunch dinner and beverages are available at a very reasonable price. The lodge is an eco style lodge surrounded by jungle. Though there are no hiking trails through the jungle you are serenaded by the sounds of birds. Kayaks, SUP and snorkeling equipment is available for your use. Your host and their children are wonderful and will do anything to make your stay a pleasant and wonderful experience. Things to know, the lodge is off the grid with good WiFi and does not have AC, but we were comfortable with our open windows and ceiling fan. The lodge accepts credit cards, but tours and water taxis are cash only so bring US dollars. Side trips to Red Frog Beach and Green Acres Chocolate are a must. Pack insect repellent and anti-itch cream.

If you are looking for a slice of comfort and wellness, but with a remote feel, this is the spot. We only spent 3 days here, but we left feeling the staff were very friendly, the buildings were beautiful and bed was very comfortable. We had our own suite, separate to any other rooms with a sea view l, deck and a huge 4 poster. Nice and cool with the aircon because it was humid and hot in the wet season. Access to lots of beaches and tours through the main town or a short drive north to bluff beach, the hotel has a driver who will ferry you. Food was great. Not a huge amount of options but to be expected with the remoteness of location, breakfast was great. The gym was great and empty. We didn't do any of the classes, but used the sauna and plunge every morning, which was a saviour. We spent about 800 dollars in the hotel on food, drinks, a day tour of the islands and tips between the two of us in 3 days. Only thing is it takes a bit of travel if you are coming from outside the country, you will need to transfer airports in panama city and get a regional flight to bocas del toro. But that's an expected trade off for the environment. You deal with the front desk through WhatsApp which was so convenient, much better method than through the room phone, but there is always someone at the front desk too. We got engaged while here and the staff were very supportive. Loved it

This place is incredible! I would give it 11 out of 10 if it would be possible. We heard and saw a lot of monkeys and birds, it was a really amazing experience that I will remember for a long time in my life. It's like you live in the middle of the jungle, but with all the benefits of a modern world. Interior of the capsule is beautiful, a really spacious shower with a roof window, so you feel like you connect with the nature. All facilities are new and clean. There is a shared kitchen and a fridge that you can use, and a nice pool area. Receptionist was very kind and attentive, and seemed really interested in our needs. A delicious and healthy breakfast was included in the price. Outside the hotel you can find some nice restaurants and beach clubs, and sea is just across the street. Hotel staff helped us with the motorcycle rent, which is only in a 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Bocas town is reachable by taxi in less then 10 minutes and taxi cost only 2 dollars per person! What I cannot put in words is the atmosphere of this place, which is really peaceful and just beautiful.

Very clean and attentive staff. Loved the free equipment rentals like bikes, paddles, and kayaks. I would have liked to see more bike sizes for smaller women available since biking around the island is very useful.

It was exactly what we were looking forward to and even more. Special thanks to the staff, who created such a great atmosphere, always friendly, attentive, and full of helpful recommendations. Choy, who speaks great English, answered all my questions beforehand, even helped me plan a special surprise for my partner and made sure we were having the best time throughout our stay. Alex, Jonathan, and José also provided fantastic service, always engaging and welcoming. Our favorite moments were definitely during the meals. The kitchen team did an amazing job with every dish. The food was incredibly tasty, creative, and beautifully prepared. The place itself is peaceful and relaxing, right in front of a beach where you can take long walks, surrounded by nature. There are also bikes available to explore the area and a ping pong table for some extra fun, even on rainy days. Oh, and they have nice background music. Everything was spotless, clean, well taken care of, including a beach view that added a perfect touch to the full experience. Thank you, Oasis Bluff Beach team!

L’établissement Santuarios del Mar vous accueille à Bocas del Toro, à respectivement quelques pas et 900 mètres de ces lieux d’intérêt : Plage Istmito et Plage de La Y Griega. Perfect location just at the edge of town, within walking distance or a quick $1 cab. Morning coffee on the dock overlooking the ocean was beautiful, our apartment was spacious and bed very comfortable, AC in every room and a gorgeous view of Saigon Bay.

Thanks for everything! The house, the room is exactly as on the photos. The restaurant is amazing! Cats are lovely! We are perfectly satisfied with everything. Kitchen was well equipped, bed is comfy, internet worked well. Hot water in the bathroom is a big pro!
