We were so relaxed watching the sunset cuddled up with a blanket. We were provided with the most incredible food - especially the fried trout and soup Judith prepared. Josue took us on a tour around Uros and also took my partner fishing!!! It was just so great. We didn’t want to leave. We also jumped in the lake which was beautiful and clear. A unique and special stay we will remember forever.

There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. First off, what a magical experience this stay was from the people to the views to the room! Walter and his family really made this stay so special, they are the kindest people ever! From the moment we arrived they treated us with such care and love, Walter’s dad picked us up and dropped us off at the port, Walter took us on a private tour of the Uros Island in the traditional boats, his mom cooked the most wholesome dinner and breakfast for us, his mom also showed us her handmade artesiana, which were all so beautiful and we were able to purchase some to take a piece of them home and support this wonderful family. They made sure we were comfortable at all times, the room was spacious, had a heater for the nighttime, since it gets cold, plenty of blankets, hot showers, spectacular views, what else can you ask for?! They talked to us about their rich culture, which was impressive and it was a gift that they allowed us to take a peak into their everyday life as foreigners were not allowed back then in the Uros. I recommend it 100%, such a good experience. They helped us to organize a tour to Taquile for the next day, and it was super nice. They told us if we wanted to use the canoe for free, however we didnt use it, and we relaxed at the cabin for the evenning.

They came to take us with boat and we made our own trip far from tourists arrangements. The lodge was really as pictures, perfect and romantic. The dinner was really nice. The bathroom is really nice and unbelievable for being in the middle of the lake.

Guests at the lodge can enjoy an American breakfast. It was the BEST night we spent in our one-month stay in Peru. Was expecting something basic, afterall it’s on a floating island and the price is so cheap. When we arrived, everything was perfect. The room was so nice, with a giant and super comfortable bed, super nice view of the lake, the room also comes with a cute balcony where we hung out most of the time during the day. Meals were served to our room, shower came with hot water, love every bit about the stay here that we wished we had booked for one more night.
