Definitely worth staying here for few days. The family is so lovely, kind and helpful. They also organized a trip to Taquile island and Uros Titino island for me, with small private boat for very reasonable price. Breakfast is included in price, they also offer lunch and dinner (20 soles per meal at the time of visit). Sometimes they skip the lunch due to a lot of work they have. Jesus (son of Valentin) also explained what is possible to do there, because there are nice places to walk around Llachon peninsula. You can also rent a kayak. Rooms are spacious and clean, with hot water, internet is working quite good. Be aware that it can get pretty cold there, especially during the night. But they have very thick duvets and extra thick blankets.

Eddy and his family are very friendly. Our room was perfect. There was even warm water in the shower, which I didn't expect. We did a 2 hours Uros tour with Eddy. The tour was very interesting, we were at the local school as well as at local families and we totally recommend booking this tour! Moreover, we borrowed a kayak from Eddy and were kayaking. The nights are pretty cold on those islands, but you get very warm blankets and warming bottles. It was an amazing experience to learn more about Uros people and Lake Titikaka. We also recommend to try the lunch/dinner. It's very delicious.

Die Unterkunft Uros Qhantany Lodge empfängt Sie in der Mitte des Titicacasees auf den schwimmenden Inseln Uros, 5 km vor der Küste von Puno entfernt. Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und lieb. Als wir ankamen waren im Bett schon Wärmeflaschen bereitgestellt und eine große Thermoskanne mit heißem Wasser für Tee. Die Gastgeberin hat uns traditionelle Kleider angeboten, um darin Fotos zu machen, da es an dem Tag an dem wir dort waren zu verregnet war für eine Bootstour. Das war wirklich lieb und wir haben ihr dann auch eine selbstbestickte Jacke und eine Alpaka-Stickdecke abgekauft. Die Mama und die Enkelin der Gastgeberin sind zu Besuch auf die Insel gekommen und wir haben auch von der Mama einen selbstbestickten Polsterüberzug gekauft. Wir hatten Frühstück und Abendessen bei der Unterkunft - beides lecker und die Forelle war wirklich köstlich! Am Ankunftstag war es leider zu spät für Abendessen, wir aßen daher noch was in Puno City. Es war kein Problem für den Gastgeber uns erst später (21:30) vom Hafen abzuholen. Leider konnten wir nicht beide Handys laden da der Strom dafür nicht ausreichte. Aus der Dusche kam leider auch nur wenig lauwarmes Wasser. Ich verstehe aber, dass beides auf einer Insel ohne Netzanschluss schwierig zu gewährleisten ist. Insgesamt waren wir 2 Nächte dort.

They picked us up in the harbour and took us to their island. The lodge is beautiful, very spacious, the bed is huge and the views were incredible. There is a heater if you are cold. Upon request thay take care of a great breakfast and dinner and take you for a boatride around the islands. They helped us arrange a transfer to Taquile island as well. For the communication Spanish is necessary.

We loved absolutely everything. The room, the food, the veiws, all the little duckies. I only wish we stayed two or three nights, instead of one! We had the most relaxing time lying on the outdoor bed watching the birds and reading. As mentioned in prior comments, payment is in cash and there are a few extra minimal costs. Communicate prior to your stay to find out the total cost including extra meals and boat taxi so you can have the soles you need, plus extra for purchasing some of Elena's amazing weave work!
