We were alone in the hotel and Lucho invited us on a hike through the Sacred Valley and then light the 'fogaza' to tell us stories about the Incas and Peru. I can say that these were the best moments of our stay in the country. I would like to thank the hosts immensely for their attention during our stay. I would also like to highlight the friendliness of the staff as a whole. Thank you and I hope to see you again in my lifetime.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Casa Yanahuara Valle Sagrado - Urubamba is set in Urubamba, 7.2 km from Bus Station and 7.7 km from Main Square. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Very clean, the staff were very helpful, the room has a amazing view and breakfast was perfect! I do recommend this Lodge, I wish I could stay more days!

Located in a quiet valley half an hour’s walk (or a short drive) from Ollantaytambo the Las Qolqas Eco Resort by far exceeded our expectations. The friendly and helpful staff helped us with all our questions and requests, alongside the manager and the owner of the hotel. They also recommended a Machu Picchu guide for us (Porfirio - charming and very knowledgeable) and helped us with transportation to and from the train station to get to Machu Picchu (included in our room rate). The food on site is excellent, as are the drinks. There are fireplaces in each cabin which they’ll light for you at your request. You can admire hummingbirds from the comfy chairs on your veranda while you can hear the birds chirp and the sounds of the nearby river. We also did a lovely 2hr hike (each way) on an Inka Trail to the nearby Pumamarca Ruins which was amazing and we didn’t see any other tourists the whole way - a great way you get away from the masses. Las Qolqas was easily our favourite place we stayed at in Peru.

Host was amazing—he met us in the plaza when we arrived late at night to help us with our luggage, woke up early to have breakfast ready on the morning that we departed for our trek, and provided us with laundry service.

We loved the daily freshly squeezed fruit juice at breakfasts. We had dinner there two nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff was very helpful in every way. Collectivos pass by the property frequently, making it easy to get to Ollantaytambo. We're so glad we stayed here.
