The staff were exceptional, couldn't fault the receptionists, the cleaning and room service staff and the kitchen staff and waitresses! The room was bigger than I had expected, bed was huge and super comfortable! I used the AC to warm the room and it worked wonders. The balcony was great, it gets sun for most of the morning and day and the sunrises were lovely. There was a kitchen in the room with a well stocked and fairly cheap minibar as well as a sofa and table to work from the laptop. The breakfast was great, constantly topping up items before they ran out - option to have it serviced in bed but it's nice to go down and look over the sea or you can take it to your room and sit on the balcony - good options for breakfast. The receptionists and all staff across the hotel were very welcoming, helpful and great to chat to to find out any information! They also saved me a few trips to the supermarket as they had the items available at the front desk! Great location and great service, I booked an extra night!! Everywhere was clean!

Mastro has everything you can desire from a hotel! In the city center, very close to the most famous cultural heritage attractions (churches, museums, botanic garden) to restuarants, shops and bars. It is also just 1 minute on feet from the beach and the port. The hotel was recently renovated but it keeps all the old fashion (but with the most modern comforts!!). The breakfast is amazing!! But, above all, the staff is ready to help you for any needs (transfers, restuarants booking, tours organization)!

Everything was perfect : a new, wonderful ,calm and clean hotel with everything you need. Good location, friendly and polite stuff . Cecilia is simply incredible. If I could give 11 out of 10 - I would. This family-run business have brought the Terceiran hospitality to perfection. Everything is immaculate inside and outside the property. We travelled Azoren for 3 weeks before we stayed there, and their beds were the most comfortable by far. Beautiful swimming pool, delicious breakfasts and extremely relaxed atmosphere of wel-run family country house where a guest is always welcome. Views over the hills are just sublime.
