This was one of the nicest places I stayed on my entire 6-week travels through Portugal. Room was really comfortable, as was the bed, the staff were all very nice and helpful, the breakfast was REALLY good, and the location was very central but also very quiet. They did a good job curating the hotel.

This is a very plush hotel set right beside the castle. The hotel is very modern but has been done sympathetic to its surroundings. Everything is spotless and the staff are excellent. The beds were supremely comfortable.

The building is stunning. The finish of the craftsmanship is outstanding, we loved this place. It was quiet, the room was spacious and the outdoor garden space was delightful. We were given guided tour upon arrival which was so nice. Staff here seem to care about the guest and their place of work.

New, modern and  very peaceful  guest house. The hosting family are the nicest people, very attentive and welcoming, making us feel at home. The room was of good size, spotless and the beds were very comfortable. The guest house offers an excellent atmosphere, very quiet and relaxed. Dinners were excellent, a real treat. Amazing experience! It really still exists : a wonderful place with wonderful hosts! From the first minute you feel welcome. This accomodation is spotless clean including the swimming pool. Free use of the open kitchen and fridge. In the garden we were invited to pick some organic fruits (strawberry, cherry etc). Excellent breakfast with local specialities. Both of the hosts are particularly friendly and so helpful. We got lots of tips to visit the charming city of Chaves. Strong recommended !
