The house itself was well-equipped and located close to everything we needed, from beaches to shops and restaurants, making it an ideal base for exploring Praslin. What truly set this place apart, however, was the amazing staff. Sonia went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, including helping us arrange a car rental seamlessly. She was kind, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. The cleaner was equally exceptional—thorough, thoughtful, and such a warm, wonderful person. They made us feel at home and truly cared about our comfort. Maison Marie Jeanne offers the perfect combination of great amenities, a prime location, and unparalleled service. Located within 400 metres of Anse Possession Beach and 3.5 km of Praslin Museum, Ocean Blue Bay offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Anse Volbert Village. The property features mountain and pool views, and is 9.1 km from Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. Gorgeous. The room was large and with beautiful features including a thoughtfully-appointed kitchenette; even the cookware was really nice. Large closet and multiple luggage racks. Beautiful views to the sea. We didn’t have a chance to use the pool but it looked nice and also has a view to the water. Air con and shower both worked great. It’s walking distance to a restaurant, bus stop, and a beach, but a little isolated otherwise so a car or plan to use the bus is advisable. There is a small store within walking distance to purchase staples. If we had more time (and rental car) this is a property we would have loved to use as a base for exploring Praslin.
