The new Outrigger Khao Lak Beach Resort – SHA Plus is an absolute beachfront property situated on Bangsak beach, a long stretch of coastline off the Andaman Sea, just a 90 minute drive from Phuket International Airport. Everything deserved excellent mark. That was our second stay in OUTRIGGER and we will come again to Thailand and only to Outrigger.

Beautiful and luxurious resort, super convenient and clean. The staff was very helpful, and the breakfast was rich and varied. I completely recommend Morecea and would love to come back!

Situated on the Andaman Sea’s white-sand Khao Lak Beach, this Thai-style resort offers bright rooms with free WiFi access. Five restaurants and three bars are located on site. The resort boasts a 3.2 km lagoon pool. The facility is beyond amazing. There are various activities throughout the day for us to do apart from just swim and chill on the beach. The hospitality is great, staffs are well organized and trained. I love that they try to accommodate and separate adult and family zone which something that is very thoughtful about this resort.

The 4-star luxury hotel is nestled within a rainforest, steps from the tranquil shores of Yao Yai Islands. Offering direct access to a 400-metre private beach and magnificent views of Phang Nga Bay and Phi Phi Islands, it also boasts a large infinity pool. First off, THE BREAKFAST! The most extensive and delicious breakfast buffet we had during our entire trip. They have everything, including a loose-leaf tea bar, an espresso maker, a chilled room with meat and cheese, Thai food, western breakfast foods, etc. The hotel does a beautiful job of blending the bungalows and service buildings into the jungle; it is like staying in luxury in the middle of the jungle! Be aware that the property is large and some of the bungalows are a good 5-7 minute walk to the lobby/restaurant; it may not be the best option for anyone with mobility challenges. The room was beautiful, with great attention to detail (like the best-smelling hand soap!). The staff was exceptionally nice and welcoming. For the price, everything is outstanding.

It’s a complete stay where you don’t have to worry about anything. Transportation, food, tours everything is taken care of, all while enjoying a calm, friendly environment with wonderful people. The treatment feels truly VIP. I especially recommend staying here because you’re supporting the local community, something you don’t get at regular hotels. Be sure to take a walk around the village to experience the kindness and peaceful atmosphere firsthand. I don’t have enough words to describe how happy we were during our stay. The breakfast was exceptional—incredibly varied, high-quality, and beautifully presented, with options for every taste, both Western and Asian. All of the resort’s restaurants are excellent, offering consistently delicious food and a great dining experience. The staff truly deserve special recognition. Everyone was friendly and professional, but Bob and his team at the reception desk stood out for their outstanding service. They were extremely helpful, attentive, and genuinely customer-focused, always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, providing everything you would expect from a top-tier Marriott resort. Relaxing by the Quiet Pool was wonderfully peaceful, perfect for unwinding. The beach is breathtakingly beautiful—pristine, expansive, and ideal for enjoying stunning sunsets. The surrounding area also offers some great dining options. There are several excellent local restaurants nearby, with Blue Sky being a definite must-visit. In short, this resort offers the perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and relaxation. We would highly recommend it and would love to return in the future!
