Well set in the La Medina district of Tunis, Dar el médina is located 17 km from Salammbo Tophet Archaeological Museum, 400 metres from Dar Lasram Museum and 500 metres from Kasbah Square. Featuring a terrace, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The accommodation provides room service, a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage for guests. We spent a few days in this hotel and liked it very much. The location is very central, about 5 minutes from the central market, the premises very welcoming and the staff friendly and always available. The breakfast is excellent and makes you start your day in the right way :)

Fantastic spa with a sea-water pool, hammam, sauna.

Aziz was a wonderful manager - make sure you keep him, playing with our little one, bringing him the resident turtles, and generally helping us with anything we need. We liked the unit so much that we extended by a day.

And also the location is great - in one of the moist vibrant streets of the Medina and a short walk to Kasbah square for taxi's.

La Menara was our absolute favorite stay in Tunisia. It was so beautiful and the owner was amazingly generous. He gave us a room upgrade and we loved it so much, we came back for another stay and we were given the best room in the house with an amazing balcony overlooking the city and ocean. Coffee at breakfast was delicious and the breakfast buffet was very good. The pool area was great for relaxing. Parking right in front of the hotel. The staff were amazing, helpful, kind and such a pleasure. The rooms were luxurious, absolutely a perfect stay! If we ever come back to Tunis area, we will absolutely return to La Menara!
