Spacious room with big bathroom. Has everything you need. A bit like staying in my grandma’s when I was young: you can hear ppl walking upstairs while lying in bed, and plenty of birds like motmots early morning in the courtyard. Room has sliding glass doors, with curtains for sun blocking and privacy. Private cove reachable via a proper hike, staircase to start with but majority is along riverbeds and through bushes, rocks and tree trunks…be prepared, I had to wash my shoes after that 😂 also remember your way down, no signposts or anything like that, and getting lost in the bush when there is no mobile signal can be scary… Castara beach via paved road downhill and staircase, some may find it steep. Sunsets are amazing, boats, music, guys playing football in the twilight…very atmospheric. Good food options close by in the village. The ones recommended by hotel 👍🏻 About 1.5h drive from airport. Worth the trip if you ask me.

The Owner Was Incredibly Kind And Helpful, Going Above And Beyond To Ensure Us Having A Great Experience . The Peaceful Surroundings And The Private Pool Added An Extra Layer Of Relaxation To The Trip. Overall, I Would Highly Recommend This Place To Anyone Looking For A Safe And Enjoyable Getaway In Tobago.

L’établissement Carolina Point Resort vous accueille à Crown Point (Île de Tobago), à 700 mètres de ce lieu d’intérêt : Store Bay Beach. When booking my trip, I almost missed out on this gem because it wasn't listed on Expedia's website. I am so thankful I found out about Carolina Point Resort. It was the perfect getaway place to call home for a few days on our visit to Tobago. I stayed in apartment 6 and it was more spacious than I was expecting. It had a very functional kitchen space with an oven/stove, fridge and lots of kitchen wares to use. The bed was so comfy, and the linens were all so clean. I value cleanliness and this room did not disappoint. Showers, sinks and towels were all well maintained. I especially loved the balcony that led to the terrace area. You definitely had privacy and felt safe staying here. The best part about this apartment styled hotel is the easy walking access to the beaches and stores. It would take about 10-15 minutes to walk to the airport, 5 minutes to Swallow's Beach, maybe 7 minutes to Store Boy and 5 minutes to the main strip. It's close enough to the action of the town but still tucked away that you are not disturbed at night by party/road noise. The owner is so pleasant and reinforced how safe you will be staying there. I would absolutely stay here again when visiting Tobago.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Clinton, the owner/manager was a caring host and went out of his way to make our stay even better

We were pleasantly greeted by representatives (Sabre and Thomas) who were on the property awaiting our arrival, a tour was given including explanations for the main gate (gated community). Even was shown the secondary exit route, which could be used as a quick route to the mini mart in the gas station close to the property. The house boasts of six rooms and four bathrooms. Which were all equally as comfortable as the beds provided, the storage options in the bedrooms were enough for even the most compulsive traveler (those who like to bring everything include the kitchen sink). Since we are on the topic of the kitchen, it was an open concept with enough counter space for more than one amateur or one professional chef to operate. With dishes, silver wear as well as pots and pans at our disposal. The living room was inviting, warm and homey. There was a large television in this space with ample sitting area. Everyone was able to sit at the dinning table to have our meals, encouraging camaraderie since it was a mixture of new friends and family not seen in many years. The landscaping and pool area was beautiful, picturesque creating a sense of quiet and relaxation. It was Memorable.

Host Raynell very gracious, thoughtful and professional in a relaxed way. Lovely lady to chat with and a pleasure to meet. Location peaceful and within walking distance of many amenities. I felt safe at all times during my stay. Apartment very homey and cozy, exactly as in photos and spanking clean. I was extremely impressed. My stay was perfect. Just what I needed. Will DEFINITELY! stay again next time I visit Tobago.
