The staff was really nice and welcoming, the place is really close to the beach and the food is great!

We loved everything about the hotel. The staff, food, drinks, activities, facilities… We loved the fitness sessions and also the Back of house tour where you learn more about how the hotel functions (we were impressed).

The breakfast was good, timely delivery and same as requested. Enough choices with option of packaging.

I liked everything. However, the places I liked the most were the pool, volleyball court, and restaurant.

Very nice hostel, very clean, friendly staff, rich breakfast and fair price. The first time I lived in a hostel with air conditioning, electric fans and hairdryer in Africa. Recommended!

We stayed at Kai Zanzibar for our anniversary and couldn’t have picked a better place. The room was spacious, beautifully designed with earthy tones and local touches that felt both luxurious and authentic. Breakfasts were fresh and generous …tropical fruits, warm pastries, eggs made to order..The staff were so warm and genuine…they surprised us with flowers and even a slice of cake for our special day

This resort sits in one of the most breathtaking and tranquil corners of Nungwi a place that feels made for a honeymoon. Honestly, you won’t find a better beach anywhere in Zanzibar. We explored Paje, Mtende, Kizimkazi, Kendwa and even the famous Nakupenda sandbank, and while each had its charm, nothing compared to the beauty right outside our resort. Our stretch of beach felt like our own private paradise, complete with its own natural sandbank and not a single crowd in sight. It was perfect. The staff and Maasai security around the hotel make the difference in your stay. This is a place we want our family and friends to experience over and over again. Our hearts are so full from the amazing experience we got to have for the 8 nights we stayed here. We are just simply blown away. Having travelled all over the world, this place now sits at the top of our best holiday experiences. Asante sana! tuonane hivi karibuni! We have managed to come away with some amazing moments and memories that will stay with us for the rest of our lives. The place is stunning, with the sunrise in the morning making you think, “Why can’t I have this all the time?” That thought just carries on throughout the day whilst having your breakfast as you look across the sea, quietly smiling inside about the experience and feeling. This continues in the afternoon when low tide arrives and the water recedes far from the shore, exposing the seabed and starfish. Our time here was not only enhanced by this experience, it was amplified by the quality of the people we met, and the joy they infused into our days. They were just wonderful. If someone wants a clean, comfortable room, with all the amenities that make the stay better, with a view of the wonderful colors of the Indian Ocean, the Dhow is the best choice! Room - restaurant - bar and the sea one step away! The Manager, the girls at the service, the boys at the bar, the maid, all of them polite with a warm smile satisfied our every need. The location where this brand new hotel is built is ideal for those who love walking next to the waves! The sea water and its colors were wonderful!!! Put a swimsuit, shorts, sunscreen, hat in your bag, wear a wide smile and you will have a great time in this little paradise. The menu is super ! The breakfast is the big surprise!!! A little while before the taxi came to pick us up, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner. My opinion is that he made a dream come true and for this reason the Dhow is a unique vacation for those travelers looking for peace and quiet away from the huge hotels.
