Motel.room large and obviously renovated recently. Great location for park access and within walking distance of restaurants in a 1 horse town. Rico at the front desk was helpful and attentive and sorted out a reservation glitch for us immediately. Likes that the fridge had a freezer allowing us to refreeze our ice packs.
Impressively large room with mini refrigerator and microwave. Huge TV. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Great location, 10 minute walk to Wall Drug and restaurants. Free drinks and free breakfast at a local restaurant. Plenty of parking.

Very convenient to the Badlands. Cute little cabins with nice wood cabin decor. Big king bed (not good for someone unable to climb up a little to get into the bed though- the bed frame was high!) Fridge in the room. Bathroom was intimate but very clean. Even though the surrounding cabins are close together, there is parking by each cabin and blinds on the windows offer great privacy. Noise wasn't an issue. Chairs on the porch of the cabin overlooked a little prairie.
Besides the weather, only a little. The room, the missing microwave from the room, and the parking situation make staying there not an option the next time I return to Badlands NP.

The hotel is at the road entrance for the Badlands! Simple hotel in a cute town. Nice coupons for great food options. Easy parking and nice options for To go breakfast or sit down option downtown.
This was a great deal (inexpensive), and everything was much better than I expected. The room was simple, but bright and clean. The staff was very friendly. Parking lot was well lit, and overall felt safe in the neighborhood. The location was an easy walk to Wall Drug — not my jam specifically, but it meant good coffee and handhelds right in the neighborhood. Short drive to Badlands.
