Loved the location and the view, facing the Quay Son River, with a wide baywalk that gets merry in the evenings. It is amidst many excellent eating places. We loved the banh cuon at the back for a very early breakfast (open at 530AM), Mixue and Banxue for drinks and ice cream, and Banh Mi Thu Thang, recommended by the owner, which was so good that we ate there twice. We are very grateful to the owner for opening the guesthouse for us very early in the morning, as our bus from Hanoi arrived at 430AM. He also pre-booked for us a private car for a day tour at a very reasonable rate, with a very capable, knowledgeable and caring driver. We were so impressed with him that we booked him again for another day tour on our second day. In so doing we were able to save on our travel expenses, which turned out significantly lower compared to booking a package tour. The property owner also booked for us our overnight bus back to Hanoi, at a cheaper rate compared to purchasing online, and which unloaded at the bus station closer to Hanoi than My Dinh. He also took care of our taxi going to the bus station. Our room looked exactly like the photos, even better, and the view from the 4th floor was nice, especially in the early morning. Our beds were huge and very comfy.

The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. We stayed at this homestay twice and honestly, both times were great. The room was super comfy, very clean, and the self-check-in was smooth and just made sense, no hassle at all. The location is in a good area, and for the price (much cheaper than what we found on booking websites). Communication was super fast and easy through WhatsApp, which made everything so convenient. They also offer a bunch of handy services like laundry and transportation. We asked if they could arrange a limousine van for two people to Hanoi, with pickup from the homestay, and they organized everything quickly. We specifically wanted to pay in cash instead of booking online, and they made that possible without any issue. All in all, a very comfortable and well-organized place to stay. We'd definitely recommend!

The room was very clean and spacious, and it’s not far from downtown Cao Bang by scooter. The host was incredibly helpful — she booked our scooter and our night bus for us. You can also get a delicious breakfast (for a small extra cost), and they offer laundry services, which we used. She even drove us to the bus stop the night we left. Thank you so much for a delightful stay! We love Cao Bang!
