I loved the homestay : it is such a beautiful and peaceful place to spend days to relax and visit the countryside. The staff always tries to please you! You can rent bikes and motorbikes for a reasonable price. Ms Hang always try to give good tips to visit the neighborhood and there is always someone at the reception to help.

One of the best stays I had in Vietnam. This homestay is located in the ideal spot: you can reach many restaurants and shops by walk, but it is also rightly tucked away from all the noise. I recommend booking the king room with a view very early in advance, they have just one available, but the view from this room was fantastic! One could even open the windows, and the fresh air is really refreshing. Air conditioning worked well (it is needed if you travel from Feb to Oct), the days get quite warm. The private bathroom was good. Breakfast was bread, egg and fruit (banana). This is the standard breakfast that one would get at most of the homestays in Vietnam. I also had dinner here on both days of my stay. The food was excellent, fresh, and did not upset my stomach at all. The owner and the people living here are extremely friendly. Also, I suggest getting a bike on rent from them. That way, you do not need a deposit or passport and also, you could leave the bike back with them at the end. I also booked a bus with them to Ninh Binh, which was awesome and costed me 250k VND, which is lesser than what was being shown to me online. Overall, a great experience. Would definitely return here on my next trip to Mai Chau.

The best place we stayed in Vietnam!!! This place is perfect perfect perfect! Everything is super clean, super well decorated, and you really feel comfortable and at home. The host is the most genuine and helping and caring person we’ve met during our time in Vietnam. Even if he didn’t speak everything in English, he always had his google translate and it worked out perfectly. We couldn’t be happier that we chose to be in this place! Breakfast was so good, fresh bread and the dinner was also amazing!

Hue was amazing. Her and her family was so kind, friendly, and inviting. I felt like I was part of her family. The property is extremely beautiful and close enough to town that you can easily get all the necessities. I came for what I expected to be four nights and ended up staying 3 weeks. Really this is an amazing place.

I had the chance to visit many places in the world, but this one probably goes on top of my list. The scenery is amazing, the hotel is amazing, food is great, facilities and services are superb. Had one of the best massages I ever got in my life from extremely polite and professional staff. One of the highlights is the staff, extremely nice in accommodating every request we had and all of them with huge smiles on all of the time (receptionists, buggy drivers, pool staff, waitresses and chefs at the restaurants, cleaning staff, ALL of them). We had the best and most relaxing time we could even think of, this place will forever remain in our hearts. You truly get the value of the money spent and even more. Thank you Avana Retreat, in particular to the whole staff, for one of the best holiday we could wish for, we hope we can come back one day!

Der Name ist hier Programm……… „keine Sorgen“ die lieben Leute welche diese tolle Unterkunft betreiben sind unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und machen alles damit sich Ihre Gäste wohl fühlen.🫶🫶🫶 Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und grosszügig, das Frühstück frisch und mit Liebe zubereitet, einfach ein Ort zum wohl fühlen.
