The customer service was exceptional!
Facilities are well maintained, comfortable and spacious. The common areas are well positioned to be on your own or socialise with other guests over a game on the pool table or watch one on tv.
Rooms are spacious, clean and complete with all necessities.
Location is close to the beach, shopping centre, food and entertainment. Easy access to a main road made me more comfortable adventuring as it was easy to make my way back.
My stay was beautiful, comfortable and peaceful

I had the best time at Schafli Manor. My room had a fantastic, awesome view on Chintsa bay and it was tastefully decorated, equipped for a comfortable stay despite loadshedding and whatnot. There is also a small pool and a beautiful garden. But what really went above and beyond was the loveliness of the fantastic host, Beulah, who cared for me like for a family member. I had great conversations with her and she was very helpful in so many ways: offering precious advices, recommending places and activities and even looking out for me after I was gone. I loved my stay here and would definitely love to come back. Totally recommended!

Got a warm Welcome when I arrive. Mrs Sinato shows me my room and she took care next morning for my breakfast.
Had the Breakfast outside next to a small lake.

I've enjoyed the safety and the independence created by die self catering rooms. I had to work late in the evening and I didn't feel unsafe coming back to the guesthouse. I also liked the fact that I could park my car inside. I also enjoyed having my breakfast already in my room.

Dawson Manor Guest House felt like a safe haven for us. We were passing through town and we were worried about safety in the town. But when the gates opened we felt fully safe and welcome.
The owner and manager were very kind, really going the extra mile for us.
The rooms were perfect, very clean!

The location is ideally central for someone who knows East London ( right next to the N2 ), safe area and quiet as well.Loved the electricity blanket since it’s still winter and very cold in East London.The bath tub was just to die for !!! Enough parking area
The room was very comfortable with all the required amenities. The Wi-Fi connection was excellent. The chocolate on the pillow was much appreciated too! Off-street parking was very useful as I had a hired car. The hosts are very helpful and kind.

Absolutely loved my stay here!
Loved how I was welcomed by such a friendly owner, very attentive to my needs throughout my stay, which stood out for me.
Loved the privacy with the private entrance and parking spot as well as the beautiful design of the room.
The shower was amazing 😍
Tea, coffee,milk, chips and a chocolate were all complimentary! Loved that...thank you for hosting me! I will be back and will recommend to anyone travelling to EL!
