We thoroughly enjoyed our five-day stay in the Penthouse. The location is perfect: we took the bus from Salzburg and the walk to the apartment was short and easy, even with luggage. The apartment is large, well furnished with many antiques, and the kitchen is well-equipped. (There is a Spar within an easy walking distance of about 10 minutes with everything from toiletries to a cheese and meat counter and small bakery.) The photos in the booking.com listing are accurate – each window has a different view of beautiful Sankt Gilgen, with the best view being from the balcony and dining area. Michael is a super host and prompt communicator. Best cakes ever in Nannerls’ Café!

I stayed for 3 nights in July. The place is very nice. They serve fast food across the street. I ordered fish and chips, which were very delicious. The staff are really kind. A big plus is that they speak English. Breakfast was delicious and out standarst. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is convenient, with many attractions nearby. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Norman und Irine were of great help to us, picking us up from the airport and dropping us in Salzburg, brought us an umbrella and iron when we needed it, very nice and helpful. We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is centrally located, right next to St Gilgen’s town hall and mere minutes walking from the lake. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable. The staff was very helpful, despite communicating only via messages and emails. Overall, a very positive experience!

Up to four cars can park at apartment, with an additional reserved parking space available just 50mts from apartment.
