The position at Strobl on Wolfgangsee is gorgeous and it’s worth paying for a lake view room. Generous room size, comfortable bed, lounge area with sofa, lounge chair & coffee table and great bathroom. Excellent breakfast - good choice and the ability to order eggs anyway you like. Beautiful gardens right down to the lake where there are 2 jetties and access for swimming. Lovely saunas - Finnish & Bio, and a steam room. Wellness centre if you want to book a massage. Short stroll to ferries - lovely way to see the area and and visit other towns - Sankt Wolfgang and Sankt Gilgen - both busier than Strobl but access for hiking via cog railway or cable car.

An amazing place! We got a lovely room, wonderful breakfast with many different options that the staff was able to adjust to our needs, got to hang out with the alpacas and enjoy the Friday burger-afternoon in the yard. They have scooters for rent at a very good price, and the location is great- close to st. Wolfgang but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle, and it's a short walking distance from a nice (but crowded) beach at the lake.

A stunning location. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax for a few days. Lots to do nearby and very easy to walk around the village from the house. The house has everything you could need and is decorated beautifully. Elisabeth was very helpful and communicative.

    Spacious room, good breakfast, the room had a balcony with a mountain view with was very nice to relax after full day of hiking. Spacious parking, had enough spaces for cars for everyone. Very welcoming host, who spoke perfect English. Nice bed, hotel is dog friendly with a decent price for the dog. The hotel is by a road, but during the night it's quiet.

    The hotel is at a perfect location,right at the lake with stunning views. Owner family all super nice and welcoming,looking after the needs of the guests. The lady with the super cute dogs even sent us some snacks for the road. Would love to return!

    The location was wonderful, in the middle of the wildlife park full of deers. Nature was really close, it was an exceptional experience. Amazing hiking/walking trails nearby which we fully recommend. All the staff members were super kind and helpful, even with our dog around. We will definitely visit again!

Spacious rooms with huge balcony with a view over mountains Very clean Palatable breakfasts with plenty of choice for non-vegetarians (Rich plate with hams and meat) Congenial and helpful Staff Pension is furnished in a kind of bawarian style that suits to its surroung Possibility to take a pet and no additional Charges for that
