We stayed for two nights (pre-season) in a room with view (highly recommend, the view is simply stunning!). The room was spacious, modern, clean, silent and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and fresh, nothing too fancy but perfectly sufficient and good quality products. We had dinner twice and once enjoyed a snack midday in the restaurant, service was always very nice and attentive, the different dishes we ordered were amazing and super delicious

Our 3 night stay at Sonnenberg Dormitory was simply unforgettable. The location is pure magic tucked away above Mürren with stunning views all around. Yes, there’s a little hike up from the village, but every step is rewarded tenfold once you arrive. Chris, our host, is one of the kindest souls we’ve met. We shared a beautiful last evening with him, gathered around delicious wine, cheese, and charcuterie, enjoying warm and genuine conversation. It felt like staying with an old friend. Thank you, Chris and the lovely team, for your generosity, your stories, and for making us feel so welcome.

The young lady who checked us in at reception was so nice and helped with all we needed to know about the area .. the guys in the restaurant and the bar also extremely nice .. cocktails were exceptional! We had a balcony room and we have absolutely no regrets - the view was absolutely stunning, and we enjoyed just sitting on the balcony soaking in the views, with the soundtrack of cow bells ringing. The room was a decent size, the bathroom clean and shower good pressure, there were even some extra seats and a desk to spread out, and plenty of room for our suitcases. The staff were fantastic, and the food in the attached restaurant also delicious. This was our favourite stay for our whole holiday, it really left an impression on us.
