We had a very warm welcome. Luckily we could speak English with the owner which is not always possible in China. She was very helpful and gave us good advice. The place is very close to the entrance to the park.

Amazing location and view, close enough to the south gate of the national park, but very private, not crowded at all. Host and staff were extremely welcoming, nice and helpful. Our host helped with planning and suggested great locations worth visiting. Rooms were clean and well-equipped, designed beautifully to the smallest detail. Food was very delicious, we had a wonderful time, highly recommend!

Beautiful view from the balcony, unique bathtub at the balcony, extremely nice host, who was very helpful and tried to plan our itinerary in the park in the best way. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. Nice breakfast to start every day. Great stay!

Location was great! Right next to the West Entrance of the National Park. Our room was also very comfortable and clean. What we liked the most was Carol, she helped us a lot! She booked our national park tickets and Tianmen Mountain and at the same time provided guidance which way to take and also arranging car pickup. The Inn has also restaurant - it seems family owned one, Carol was also very helpful in translating things for us. Since international card gets charged when you exceed 200 Yuan, Carol was kind to allow us to pay by batches so we don’t get charged the fee:)

We went to No5 Valley Lodge to explore the Zhangjiajie National Park, and we loved every bit of it. The lodge is in a very remote area, meaning that you're not close to shops or towns, but that's exactly what we were looking for. It's 5 minutes away from the west entrance of the park, which was perfect in our opinion because we managed to escape the crowds on most of our hikes. The lodge is beautiful and the pictures don't always do it justice, especially the view from the restaurant and swimming pool. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and very cosy. We started in one of the rooms, that was next to the swimming pool, and as the weather was getting colder (low season), the heating system had been turned on, which meant it made quite a lot of noise. We let the staff know about this and they immediately changed our rooms and upgraded us. The staff, and particularly Frankie, is very friendly and helpful. They're very organised and will provide you with pre-defined routes of visit for the park, which is great as it's quite a confusing and large park, so you just have to follow their guidance! Finally, we loved the food there, it was of really good quality, but note it's not western. Again, that's what we wanted, so we were very happy with it.

From the moment we arrived, Lucas took care of everything for us. He helped us ​​plan the perfect itinerary​​, booked our tickets to ​​Tianmen Mountain and Zhangjiajie Forest Park​​ (no queues, no hassle!), and even arranged amazing seats for the ​​cultural show​​. Thanks to him, we didn’t have to worry about a single thing—just pure enjoyment! Lucas was always ​​patient, professional, and full of great recommendations​​. He made sure we had the best experience possible, whether it was suggesting the best photo spots or arranging transport. His attention to detail and warm hospitality really stood out! The hotel’s location is perfect, the rooms are cozy, and the views are just ​​unreal​​. Waking up to misty mountains every morning felt like a dream! Beautiful place! Hotel is in a strategical place near west gate and it’s very nice, very close to the mountains. Choose montain wiew room! But the best thing is the staff, Winnie will help you to organize everything, before and during the trip, she speaks perfect english. She is so precise and professional. I forgot some clothes in the hotel and she send them to me to another hotel and back to Italy. She is kind and beautiful. Rate 10/10
