We had our own bungalow, large clean and simple, with palm leave roof. With a mosquito net on the beds and several fans, which are sufficient to the job. The staff has been amazing, all locals people so kind and professional. We have eaten at the hotel restaurant several times, and it is one of the best place of the island. And the location is fantastic, the beautiful view from the terrace as in the pictures. The courtesy tour by boat is a very nice welcome and we also did some of the activities you can purchase. We highly recommend the snorkeling because you can see the living and colorful corals and fishes, and the luminescent plankton. The hotel is a quite one, with no music, as there is enough elsewhere, you can go in 10 minutes to other party hotels or, as we did, in the village to have a more authentic experience.

It was a very beautiful property. The stafff was amazing. The food was delicious and value for money. The water at the beach was super warm n crystal clear. Loved the place. We also did. Snorkeling and a plankton tour with local guide who the hotel helped us connect. Can definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic time at Arte y Aventura. Carlos is a fantastic host, and he taught us about his work in conserving the mangroves around the island. It was super easy to book activites with him and there are quite a few options ie. Snorkelling, kayaking, bioluminescent plankton and others. He cooks lovely dinners and breakfasts also. The location is only a short walk to a lovely beach where you can watch beautful sunrise/sunset. Would definitely recommend to stay here for a peaceful and welcoming stay on Isla Grande.

We absolutely loved our stay at El Hamaquero! Such a beautiful spot and lovely people. The hostel is right on the sea, and you can easily relax and go for a swim. The tours they offered were fantastic, they gave us a chance to explore the area, go snorkelling to see coral and a sunken ship, and even experience some bioluminescent plankton.
