The place is fantastic just in front of the sea. The staff are friendly and helpful full of good vibes! . I stayed 5 nights and every day was full of new experiences, fresh food, friendly faces and access to kitchen and fridge. They guys showed me the best spots to surf and also provided with tips. Mudhouse Hostal was exactly what I was looking for—super laid-back, close to the beach, and full of good vibes. The natural style of the place fits perfectly with Mompiche’s easygoing atmosphere. I spent a lot of time just relaxing in the hammocks, chilling after surfing and reading books. The staff were awesome—really friendly and always happy to help with local tips. My room was simple, clean, and had everything I needed. Not fancy, but super comfortable and totally fits the surf-town vibe. If you're into surfing, relaxing, and meeting cool people, this place is a winner. Would definitely stay again.

Really nice place, Martin is super helpful and fun to be around. The kitchen has everything you need to cook nice meals. The space feels spacious and there is a lot of places to chill. Super close to the beach and the restaurants and shops in town 10/10

Arriving at the property involves driving onto the beach (or getting a taxi), which was both daunting and surreal at first, but quickly became one of my favourite things about it. We had an SUV (not 4x4) and had no problems - the sand is really hard and easy to drive on. The owner was extremely communicative and helpful over WhatsApp, and made us feel very welcome during our stay. He's an excellent chef, and we ate at the hotel every day to make the most of his incredible cooking. The property itself is on it's own stretch of a fairly deserted beach (which becomes inaccessible during high tide) and both the views and isolation are beautiful. We went for walks and swam during the day and drifted off to peaceful sound of the waves and wind at night.
