Our stay in Väre home was absolutely outstanding and exceeded all our expectations. The property was beautiful and homely with a well-equipped kitchen that made it easy to prepare meals and enjoy the cozy evenings indoors. The highlight of our stay was the private sauna house, where we enjoyed a truly unforgettable experience of relaxing in the sauna and dipping into a frozen lake—a perfect touch of Finnish tradition. The location was ideal, just 5 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from the city, yet wonderfully peaceful. We could watch the Northen lights from the property without the need to travel. The host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Overall, this accommodation was worth every penny, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ivalo!

Independent chalet overlooking the lake, very quiet, private, intimate. We had animals greet us every morning: squirrels, birds, reindeer... it felt like a fairy tale. The chalet faces south, perfect to watch the sunset - on the other hand, the Northern Lights will come in from behind the chalet. The lake was completely frozen so we walked through it to get to the stores on the other shore and to see the Northern Lights :-). Comfy bed, fully equipped kitchen, functioning sauna. Self cleaning required afterwards (service is available for a fee). Easy to reach in winter with a standard rental car (we had a yaris). Parking available just outside the chalet.

Everything was excellent 👌 People there were friendly and helpful, the place is simply magical. ❤️ We stayed in chalet and there was a plenty room for living, cooking, playing our big boardgames on the table etc. The restaurant is great, you have to try the reindeer burgers 🍔! Or just chill there for an evening with a local beer 🍺 We are really thankful that we stayed there for our honeymoon and experience the awesome place (and saw great auroras and sky). 💕

The location is amazing on the lake shore. It is in a beautiful area. There is walking,canoeing,cycling, and the town is nearby. The facilities are fabulous,sauna, table tennis , snooker, board game, outdoor play area, everything you could want for a wonderful holiday.
