Magnifique! The property is very beautiful, well maintained and clean. The proprietor was very helpful and gave lots of recommendations. The room is very spacious, comfortable and well decorated, with mini fridge, coffee maker and more. The swimming pool was great for refreshing in the summer. The location is excellent, very close to the fortified city and the main sights.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. There were plenty of fans and AC too, which was appreciated as we were there during the heatwave. The street is very narrow, so you have to be quick unloading if you are coming by car, as other traffic cannot get past. We didn't find that a problem though, as it's not a particularly busy street. There is both free and paid parking nearby. The location was very convenient for all the restaurants on Place Carnot where we ate twice. Bakeries and supermarket also very close by. About a half an hour walk to the medieval city walls. It was quiet despite its central location. Host Serge was very helpful.

This little apartment is in a perfect location. It's on a side street that's a cul de sac. When you come out the door, if you turn right, you walk into the old castle full of lovely little street with cafes, restaurants, and shops. If you turn left, there is a beautiful walk along a canal/river bank. Everything is within walking distance. I took 2 taxis while I was here. 1 from train station to apartment for Eur11 and 1 to the airport for Eur22.00. Both fares were about right for distance travelled. The apartment was easy to access, key left in a lock box, there are a few steps (approx 8 to 10)inside the door leading up to the apartment door, but they are easy to manage. The furniture is very comfortable, especially the sofa and armchair.. The shower is excellent. Good supply strength and plenty of hot water on demand. The mattress and pillows were tops for comfort. The old bridge is a 4 minute walk. I wasn't mad about the new yown or the square. There wasn't much to do or see in the area. The canal and old city were the best spots. Really enjoyed the boat trip on the canal. Worth every penny. Didn't need to rent a bike. Maybe next time. The two little cakes on arrival were perfect touch. Also the additional supplies, rice, pasta, salt, spices, oil, tea and coffee. Thank you. I highly recommend and would stay here again without hesitation.

I stayed last year with a friend,and loved the place so much that i booked it this year for friends,a newly wedded couple,who visited Carcassonne. They came back thrilled,and specifically asked me to rate Catherine's place as follows: "Really lovely place with a sweet balcony at a great location, just outside the medieval city. I highly recommend checking Croco Bleau jazz club that is only 12-15 min walk from the flat and that has awesome concerts to offer! Extra advantage- it is a pet-friendly space and as well parking is right in front of the flat, so very convenient. Communication with the owners was great too. Highly recommended.

Amazing location, amazing and friendly staff. The hotel dog was adorable, obviously the breakfast selection includes food for him to scam off you! disappointed not to meet the hotel cat!

Staff fantastic, great location, loved the position and head the best steak I’ve had in a long time. Love the rustic layout of the place, parking great and for our pet dog.

Great location for the old cite and the New Year’s eve festivities. Great view of the old Cite from our bedroom balcony. The special meal in the evening of New Year’s eve was indeed special and fantastic value. It’s pet friendly and we took our staffy who tells me its one of, if not the best hotels he has staying in so far.

Everything! Unexpectedly excellent! Beautiful house, full of character. Secure parking, dog friendly and lovely secure outdoor garden space with a pool. Bathroom spacious and beautiful. Nice breakfast included. Good location.

An excellent location close to the bridge that takes you to the old town. the outdoor terrace is especially wonderful if you bring a dog, and pet friendly!!!
