We had a wonderful stay here and I would recommend it as a great place for anyone doing the Mestia-Ushguli trek. The host family is so kind and hospitable, they really made us feel very welcome and at home. They even invited us to watch the Euros football with them, which was so kind. The guesthouse is clean and comfortable, with excellent food in large quantities - just what you need after a long day of hiking! There was also a very sociable experience dining with other guests, which was fun. The guesthouse is also in a really beautiful location by the hillside, with a nice garden to sit in and relax. I would definitely stay here again if I was back in the area.

Was a super nice guesthouse, the best one in the village! We could stay and drink beer at the patio after a long day of hiking! The rooms were very clean and big. Also, the bathrooms were extremely nice and I do not think I have ever been in a nicer shower, super deluxe. Moreover, they served us a lot of food which was all really tasty. This is the best guesthouse I’ve ever stayed in so I really recommend it to others 😊.

I stayed at this hotel with my friends during the new year’s season. Hosts were super friendly and very helpful. They made sure we got everything we needed and additionally, without us even asking, gave us free homemade food during new year. The hotel has a really great location, only 10 minute walk from the City Center. Hotel offers free tea, coffee and cakes during the day. Rooms were great, bed was really comfortable and it was really warm inside despite the cold weather outside. On the last floor, there is a cozy rooftop that you can use in summer and also in the winter, with a wonderful view over Mestia. Will come back❤️

Out of all the places we stayed during our three weeks in Georgia, Lali’s A-frame house in Zabeshi was by far our favorite. The location is absolutely stunning, with the best views we had on the trip. Lali is a wonderful host — warm, welcoming, and she cooks the most delicious food. Run by a warm, friendly lady who made us feel at home. She doesn’t speak much English but we could communicate well with google translate. The beds were comfortable with soft sheets and lots of blankets. I visited in October so she gave me a portable heater for my room. Dinner and breakfast were amazing, the best food I had on the entire trek by far. I was with another traveler and she cooked us a feast that included homemade wine and her own honey. The guesthouse is located right next to the trail so it’s easy to continue the next day.

Guesthouse is located directly at hiking path. Everything is clean. Rooms are basic but sufficient. Guest family is very welcoming and friendly. They're serving dinner and breakfast (not included). Everything is homemade and delicious. View from garden down to valley is amazing especially when sun goes down. Thanks for the nice stay
